I'm understanding that Rebecca Miller has been "let go". Well, perhaps "management" has their reasons, but, as for my immediate and extended family, and friends we will be watching ANY station but NBC channel 5. The best part of having coffee at 5am was Rebecca Miller and Tammy Dombeck. Ya'll are THE LOSER! GOOD LUCK REBECCA.....

I'm with the other commenters here.....I will not watch Channel 5 news..Rebecca Miller was the best part of waking up to get ready for work....for years and years.....wake up KXAS.....maybe management has to go.

I'm sorry to see Rebecca Miller go, every morning when I get up I turn the channel to 5. In fact the other morning my wife had it on channel 11 and I said what is the tv doing on any channel other then 5 in the morning!!!Maybe now I start wathing 4,8,or 11. Living in Plano Rebecca always did a great job letting us know what was going on with the weather the same way Tammy does the traffic. I'm sorry to see her go!!

Rebecca gone from Channel 5 so are we. What a bad decision to make to let her go. She is the best and will be picked up by a station that will appreciate her and the great job she does. We will miss you Rebecca in the a.m. Good Luck!!

Shame on Channel 5 station management and Ms. Tully for firing Becky! We loved having coffee with Becky (for years) and will miss her. We will be switching channels now and hope to see Becky promoted to another station in DFW. Shame Shame Shame on you! Fire Ms. Tully!

Well its sad to hear about the best weather person in the metroplex being let go. A personal note to the one who let her go, when you see the ratings going down you will know that it was a poor choice in doing what you did. Rebecca will prosper where ever she goes because her smile makes my day.

My family woke up to Rebecca Miller's smile every weekday morning. I will be looking for a new morning show now.

What a sad move on Channel 5's part. Rebecca had personality and I'm sure another station will grab her up in a minute! Good Luck Rebecca. Channel 5 you lost me as a viewer.........buh bye!

The only reason we stayed with Channel 5 was to see Rebecca in the mornings. If David could not protect Rebecca - then we'll go to Channel 4-Fox who has more loyalty to their employees than Channel 5. Becky was one of the best on 5!!! Shame on you David - Harold would not approve - he protected you in the early years.

What was the Channel 5 management and Ms. Tully thinking when they made the decision not to renew Rebecca Millers contract? BAD DECISION..........

I will NOT be watching Channel 5 anymore due to they have fired one of the BEST folks doing weather in DFW area.....I have been watching Becky on Channel 5 since she started and remember her loosing earrings, showing up on the news with pajama pants etc etc...this made me loooooveee her....She was the only reason I watched Channel 5 news in the AM....what a shame that pride and jealousy got in the way of such a wonderful person.....SHAME ON THE EXECS AT NBC 5...you have lost yet another viewer!

I'm with everyone else. Rebecca Miller had not only personality, but she was accurate and well informed. She was one of the only reasons I watched the weather on NBC 5...not anymore. I will be tuning into ANOTHER CHANNEL....your loss!

I love Rebecca Miller and this is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. They let Rebecca go and kept Tammy? If anyone needs to go it is Tammy and her shrill, annoying voice. She adds nothing to their broadcast. When she is out the helicoptor guy does the traffic report a lot better and is a lot easier to listen to. I'm going to switch stations even though I still love Deborah and Brenden.

Rebecca Miller was a class act. She was the only weather personality I could listen to without zoning out. A major contributor to that morning team is now gone. Boo to the stupid boss!

Wow! I am in shock...Rebecca Miller was and is the best weather personality in this area. What was management thinking to not renew her contract!! The newbies on channel 5 do not come close to her level. Probably have to pay them less and the bottom dollar spoke!! I'm sure she will be grabbed up by antoher local channel and myself and thousands of others will be waiting for that to occur. Good luck Rebecca and look forward to seeing your face on another local channel soon.
