Listen people have the right to choose who they love and sleep with. Im straight but so what who cares. I think you should be comfortable with yourself. People be killing themselves over that stuff. Live your life the way you want to. you can't get married so what if you get engaged and you feel like your married so be it

Same gender couples can marry in any state in America. All that is required is a minister or pastor.

They just don't get the benefits of marriage.

Yet.

Anyone care to discuss the actual article this thread is linked to? Or are we all so obsessed with the marriage fight that nothing else matters?

I would be against it.

Reasons, society still has the power to do serious harm in outing gays & lebians.

We do not need machines to do the work of checking ID. Enough already with half baked technology that does more harm, & cost benefit ratio just doesn't make the grade.

There are however, more security camera's throughout NYC than most people could fathom.

The right to privacy has taken a major blow with the Patriot act, I see no reason to add to it.

How's that for a start?

Excellent. In fact, I can't think of anything to add, off hand.

i can see where people would be a bit reticent to have the cameras installed at every exit and entrance to the clubs. most people out for an evening on the town, no matter what sort of club they are walking into or out of, want to be photographed or videoed doing it. i can see this entire thing opening up a pandora's box for the private investigator industry... all anybody who is interested would have to do is to pay someone to let them view the film and they'd have first hand evidence that joe was seen leaving the club arm in arm with bill and both of their wives would have them nailed.
