Its embarassing when deps and lasd sgts ask in a nice way, why are many of the deputies who were in ops specifically former sgts of ops refusing to go on patrol? I tell him the truth and and he has heard all the embarassing excuses from ops. Its better just to admit your scared and leave it at that.

The lack of experience from ops and we could take it easy there if you wished and done zero work if you wanted, where as in lasd patrol is somewhat different. Most of my ops buddies dont want to admit their fears but its so obvious. Just about all ops have asked to go to TSB, where hey feel safe doing less patrol type work. Very sad few want to go to patrol at regular patrol stations. The fear is there and this is why we former ops get such a bad rep, especially among deputies and our new brass.

The ops excuses:

Im too old.

The schedule doesnt work for me

I want it easy so i will stay in the jails

I already worked patrol in ops.(Not the same)

The best one: i have done it all, patrol everything. These are the lowest of ops using this excuse and it mainly comes from former ops sgts.

You guys want to say you were real cops/deps, heres your chance to gain more experience out in real patrol, not cheat yourselves and try to convince yourself you are a brave real cop and you went on patrol.

There is much more to learn here then to spend your time cowaring, sucking deputy and sgt butts. Really embarassing.

It will become more embarassing as there some making up excuses andis rumors right now that fto deps will fail them because you are ops or haze you. Come on, stop with your little cowardly excuses. Either you are not up to par and you are not meant to be a cop, no big deal, dont stay one just so you think it impresses people, it doesnt these days. Stand up for yourself if deputies harass you, etc not suck azz. Thats on you. In Ops some of you are in denial but there was alot of hazing going conducted by many incompetent ops fto's. How could ANYONE who was trained by Lieberman, Nash, Turner, LaFave, Montanez, Rubacha, O'Shea, Ed-guard, Rich, etc, etc, etc even begin to call themselves cops? Trained by tree-trimmers and custodians???? Get real. VERY FEW former OPS were trained by perople who actually WERE cops. Now, it has come to my attention that in a month or so, the citizen commission on jail violence will be conducting interviews with former ops personnel regarding the way we were treated during the merger process and once we arrive at our current duty station and jail facilities.

People! this is the time for us to come together and tell them everything that we endure, all the abuse and hostile treatment received by the dirty background investigator and the dirty deputies that treated us like trash during the first and second year at our respectives duty station or jail facilities.

I asked all former county police officer to be strong and let the commission know the truth about the corruption in the sheriff department. I asked everyone to not be afraid and MAN UP and lets make the sheriff department pay for what they did to us. Remember our fallen brothers (Rober Veira and Woodall) they were both demoted and they both die at home due to stress and emotional pain and suffering. the sheriff department was the cause of their death. If both of them have been hired they be alive today.

The stress of the disqualification lead to their demise. so for that reason, I asked all OPS officer to honor our fallem comrades by reporting everything you have seen in the jail facilities.

For those 31 former ops officers who are currently deputies and were drop from the lawsuit, I asked you to speak now or prepared to be harras by the sheriff sicne you are no longer in the lawsuit protection class. This is your time to speak your mind and get back in the suit and the war against the sheriff departmnet.

I got one for you that makes me so ANGRY. Everytime theres a call like a pod search, inmates acting stupid as usual. If an ops deputy is assigned, he never shows up. Its sickning how many not all my fellow ops deputies are afraid to deal with inmates and get into a righteous use of force. Other ops deps told me to watch there pattern, sue enough a call goes out and these certain ops deps show up after the incident/call is over. Very convenient, so of course we are all standing there wondering where the f=k were you? These former ops sgts and some ops deps consistently cowar and do this. Ive heard the my radio is bo, i didnt hear my radio but it seems to happen only during calls, they hear quiet well on non calls. Found out many ops go hide out in the bathroom jammed tight like sardines in a can, sh=tng in themselevs. You cowards know who you are. If i have to handle more of your calls, some of us will post your names here on topix for the workd to see. You did it in ops and now here. What the f=k? Grow some balls.
