From Aurora to Pittsburgh, the price of no gun control leadership

As a reference - Please start with the Constitution of the United States, the Second Amendment. It's got all the leadership you would ever want. And please remember, it's a right. not a "need". Support came with ratification. Period!

Leadership? It's the constitution, ya' old fool, a blueprint for our government, and has nothing to do with providing leadership... that's the role of congress and the chief executive, numnutz!

Hey,old man: after Dubya Dumazz screwed up the pursuit of bin Laden in Tora Bora and failed to even come close again in either term- even declaring his capture "unimportant," it was Obama's leadership that got him in just over three years! And that includes most of the senior Al Quaida leadership as well! And bin Laden wasn't in Iraq!

I’ll preface this with I wasn’t a fan of George Bush then nor am I now.

Bush was absolutely correct about bin Laden. With a multi-million dollar bounty on his head bin Laden became irrelevant. Is Al Qaeda weaker today as a result? The execution of bin Laden accomplished on thing only, made him a martyr. We were better off with him hiding.

The execution of bin Laden absolutely made us feel better, there was a sense of closure for many. But, it served no purpose beyond that. Bush was correct about bin Laden.

Get serious! The GOP's politicians are slavishly devoted to party orthodoxy; the Muslim may pray facing east, but Republican does everything with eyes to the RIGHT! The Democrats still have the Blue Dog" conservatives, but even the moderates have been driven from the GOP. They're even afraid to cross right-wing commentators like the Great Bloviator, Rush Limbaugh! The only consolation is that the days of today's extreme, inflexible conservatives are numbered; you won't survive as the party of angry, old white guys, bubba!
