Bush expanded Federal Employment by 1.7 Million, He inherited 4% from Clinton, when he left office the Rate was 7.8%, in Feb 2009, 10 Days after Obama's inauguration the Rate was 8.1%
As a comparison, the GOP Spending Cut decreased public service employment by 700,000 Jobs as Obama was creating a climate to expand the Private Sector Workforce by 5 Million over the last 29 Months. That was part of the GOP Scheme. To increase unemployment by firing and defunding Teachers, Police and other Public Service Workers to gain some traction in this election.
Do you think the rest of the Nation was not paying attention to the Republican obstruction project, why do you think the Republicans Lead Congress has a 10% Approval Rating? Gonorrhea has a higher Approval Rating than the Republicans in Congress for that very purpose and strategy used to prolong the Bush Depression.
THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION: FEBRUARY 2009
Nonfarm payroll employment continued to fall sharply in February (-651,000), and the unemployment rate rose from 7.6 to 8.1 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today. Payroll employment has declined by 2.6 million in the past 4 months.
pssssssssssst, it didn't work in 2010 either.

More nonsense.
Ms Waters stood "staunchly" as the Republicans voted in the House to Repeal the ACA 31 Times as the Republicans were in the Majority, to no avail. How could she or any Democrat have done anything to stop the reform of Fannie and Freddie in 2003 if the Republicans were dead set on reforming either agency?

The GOP had total control of Congress, and allowed their proposals in the House and Senate to die in Committee on reforming Fannie and Freddie in 2003. The Same way the GOP has a majority in the House now, except they had a majority in the Senate and the White House then.
If they wanted to do something there was nothing the Democrats could do to stop them, just like the Democrats can do nothing in the house to stop their vote on repealing the ACA.
Deregulation and bum Security trades under the nose of the Bush SEC caused the Bush Depression. Nothing more.

Reading comprehension not your strong point? LOL not enough control to over ride a filibuster, Nice try, but your brand of misinformation and spin will not work with those who actually read and comprehend what we read. LOL - just love how dim libs. actually are. So funny, it really is a case of If the DNC didn't vet the facts, the facts are not correct.

neither the Senate proposal or the House's proposal came out of Committee, a Filibuster in the Senate was never necessary.

I spelled that out in the original post, maybe it's you comprehension skills that needs the work. ROFLMAO

That's the only hope the GOP has, that the Truth does not prevail. With the Republican lead House having a 12% Approval Rating, it's certain that the American public is aware of the obstruction strategy used to prolong the fiscal hardships the nation is suffering from.

The MSM is biased. That is fine as long as Obama is President, but after he loses they will be bending over backward for interviews. Republicans should just ignore them for the next 8 years.

All the construction workers around the country were put out of work by the democrats. I'm very surprised that democrats haven't received vengeance yet for their foolishness. But it's coming. It's coming.

Well, it just so happens my grandfather sat in front of a black church, that was threatened by the KKK, with his shotgun locked and loaded to protect those "inferior" people. So I don't think he would be ashamed of me at all. I have no guilt either. It's almost time for your poisoned suicide pill Little Hitler. Follow your leader, please.

Although most people would consider me a democrat, I am more in the middle as I believe both sides have valuable offerings.

But it's a fair bet that I have worked twice as much as you ever have. There's just know sure way of knowing that. You are one of those people that bunch people up into welldefined groups that are in some other deminsion. Your statement also proves you're an idiot. I throw that last line in there because there are other idiots on here that can't see it that way.

Right. I mean, we're at an 8.3% unemployment rate! When he took office it was 10%! By this rate, we'll be back to around 5% unemployment by 2016! I mean, he's asleep at the wheel!
He has no record to run on! He hasn't accomplished ANYTHING! Like, for example, the Affordable Care Act, Children's Health Insurance Reauthorization Act (providing 4 million previously uninsured health care), ending the war on Iraq, bin Laden, executive order to repeal Bush era restrictions on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, signed Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Act, expanded Pell grants, etc. Not just was he the first president to endorse marriage equality, but he appointed more openly gay officials than any other president in US history!
Just don't tell anyone that he's been the most effective president since FDR! Otherwise, what the hell would us conservatards keep whining about?
Attention democRatturd!!! You forgot to mention how b. h. obama was mentored by bill ayers for years and launched his political career from the home of bill ayers and how that close association without any doubt whatsoever proves b. h. obama is a marxist...just like you so GFY nitwit.

You don't know of anything the democrats have to offer? If you think that none of them have anything to offer, then just re-read my previous post. I think everyone has something to offer. Maybe they're just to afraid to admit that they agree with something from the "other side". Or maybe they haven't learned how to think for themselves yet.

How can you be "Proud to be an American"? You have no true American values. You know nothing of this great country we live in. You sound like you're still the 8th grade bully that flunked out so many times you never really graduated.

Attention bozo!!! If your self-righteous story holds water then chances were very good your grandfather was a Republican simply because slavery, Jim Crow, lynching and the KKK are all legacies of the democRat Party...That's your party, nitwit. Furthermore, following the civil war democRats passed laws denying freed slaves their right to own firearms...Chances are very good that the law extended to Jim Crow and that's probably the reason blacks had few or no weapons whereas your white relative did.
And furthermore, one would assume that democRat Party would have learned a lesson from denying blacks their right to defend themselves but no. Today's democRat Party tried to deny blacks living in fear of criminal attack in public housing their right to own firearms. Thanks to the NRA that matter was settled in a court of law on behalf of those forced by democRats to live in fear.
