Sooooo glad there are women who are here to save us. LOL
Scott Anderson resigns and this is what they have to say?
Dorie Watts Oh,no. This whole thing is going terrible quickly. So sorry to read this.
Tiffany Carlisle Thanks for repeating what I have been saying for 2 years now! We need to have 15 scheduled speakers at the next BOE meeting, and the next, and the next...! Tell the board what you think of the decisions they are making.GET INVOLVED AND STAY INVOLVED
Debbie Leach Christian I know Tiff....I was one of the people that was always too busy. Surely being a single mom was a good enough excuse. I have been to meetings here and there over the years (my neighbor is a past president), but only started attending regularly in January. What and eye opening education. Thanks for being a pioneer.
Tiffany Carlisle Thank YOU Debbie Leach Christian for joining us in this fight!
What are you fighting for? Are you fighting to clean up this mess or fighting the cleaners?
Isn't Tiffany on the Boosters Board?? No questions about that just "oh no the sky is falling because Scott Anderson resigned"?
Denial is what they must feed on.
Hold On There Partner! Sounds like you got a burr in your saddle for sure; but that ain't NO reason to spout off on this discussion board stirring up mean-spirited boro bullies the likes of Tif and Deb; and there ain't no cause for you to go airing your personal frustrations at the public school board meeting just because "You and your close-knit kind" can NOT control our board representatives who are making legal and ethical decisions that are in the best interest of our school children and our community. My Goodness, what sore Losers you are!

Now since the first of the year, taxpaying citizens have been subjected by the whole bunch of you community bullies that behave as if YOU are the ones in DENIAL---acting as IF you don't know the difference between Right and Wrong! That's just hogwash!
And taxpaying citizens are fed-up with your hogwash at every public school board meeting airing YOUR "bullish" superiority as IF our elected officials are subject to "fluffing your every concern and frustration"... at taxpayers expense!
Our board members are paid to conduct public business meetings to educate Springboro citizens regarding how our school tax dollars are being used for our children's education. And the board is paid to listen to the needs of the school district AND the needs of their constituents. Yet, all we hear from a few close knit bullies in this community at public board members is what they WANT!

Good Grief, even Scott Anderson "tired of your banter" and just threw in the towel because no matter how much "attention" was given by the school board president to you community bullies, you were right back where you started from at each meeting: preaching, protesting, undermining with ridicule, all in your efforts to distract and discredit the accomplishments of our new board majority whose leadership and decisions are focused on the best interest of our students FIRST! Enough is Enough of this wasting of taxpayers time and money!
oh, by the way, exactly where does it state in our school board policy and by laws that the purpose of public participation is to "protest against school board representatives" who are doing their jobs that Springboro families and taxpaying homeowners elected them to do? If you have personal gripes against board members, don't bore everybody else with your pettiness. Just grow up and try changing your attitude toward "circumstances" instead of trying to "micro-manage" elected officials to "just do it your self-interest way."

Where Is the Money wrote:
<quoted text>
A few comments were made at the last board meeting suggesting that we just get off the trail of the missing money from the boosters athletics fundraising business; and just leave these financial mishaps to the outside investigators. But it's agreed that we need to stay focused on asking these tough questions on the inside (our school board elected officials; school administrators) until a "clean slate" can be presented to community members.
We must not be led from the path of "finding out who is to blame" by those who would try blaming other issues to divert attention.
There's a lot of explaining due as to how our boosters fundraising business got into this mess.
Wasn't it Tracy Jarvis who said at the August 14 public school
board meeting that she would check with our Springboro police on updates of the pending investigation? Does that mean the public can expect to hear her report at the August 28 meeting?

For every 15 levy bullies that want to speak or ramble on about nothing at the meeting I can arrange 30 that will praise the work our BOE is doing. But we don't want to waste more of their time so we just speak at the voting both. As a parent of 2 Boro students I am excited about the direction of our new superintentdent and the BOE! Keep up the good work.

Ya know if you ask Gentry Ellis why she voted to shut down the cameras she will tell you it was because of people using the meetings for grandstanding. Tiffany Carlisle and Lisa Babb are the biggest grandstanders. They both come to meetings just to stand in the room and say something even if it makes no sense and has no purpose. They must have to be able to tell everyone that they speak at every meeting.

"Look at me I speak at every meeting". Someone should tell them to understand that they are the ones that got the camera turned off last year by the old BOE. Now this BOE turned it back on just to capture these ladies being _______. I'd say these board member are being very generous and letting these ladies live out their dreams of stardom.

It is never "all right" to be embarrassing to yourself or to others. And it is better to offer No Excuse rather than a bad one; which you "dozen plus three" boro bullies insist upon doing at every board meeting; which is "embarrassing" our school children, our school district leaders and teaching staff, and our community as a whole; with your 30 minutes of allotted time in public participation. That's two minutes each of embarassing yourself "making YOUR case that there is a boro-way to do a wrong thing the right way. How Embarrassing for you!
While others who disagree with your bullying tactics, observe quietly, we recognize that however deep the hole that you "close- knit community bullies" are digging for yourselves, it just gets deeper with each embarrassing "show time."
Ready, Set, Go! Bring It On! at the August 28th public school board meeting! Those attending, who respect school district authority and rule of board policies and by-laws, will continue supporting the accomplishments of our new board doing what's right for our school children and community as a whole.
We do not fear facing the truth; nor the consequences that may result from learning the truth.
For Sure

For sure it was Tiffany Carlisle embarrassing herself at the last board meeting when she spoke "out of order" during "called to order" business session, engaging in conversation with the board repeating something "contradicting" that the athletic director said. Did anybody else noticed that Tiff acts as if she and the athletic director are "co-leaders" of the schools athletic program? Get Real, Tiff! There's nothing wrong with having nothing intelligent to offer at a school board business meeting; unless you keep insisting on offering, over and over and.....

Let's call it exactly like it was. Why did Gentry Ellis vote to shut down the cameras? It's because she felt embarrassment. At that specific point in time she and many of her pro-union cohorts both on and off the board were being out-debated, out-negotiated, no-hitted and completely knocked out of the ballpark by Educate Springboro era David Petroni and Jim Rigano.

What is truly amazing is that everyone is surpised as all this "new" information/events have been shown the light of day LOL it was/is/will be happening when we as voters take the word/work of our elected and Non-elected officials as the word of god.$130,000 dollars just drop the turnip truck?? I have to sign my life away just to get a new tractor - but "people" come up with money or live over their heads/jobs in pure view. you were told then and now and in future that things happen you have two choices either look into or sink your head into the clearcreek bottoms and forget it.

I really hope that all of these pro levy moms know that while they talk badly about the board they themselves look guilty of helping this district hurt the kids. They helped people stay in the money, not for the kids, they spew lies helping the deception continue. Tiffany, Lisa, Jane, Debbie, and several others go around town saying I just don't understand this board, I am embarrassed, we are the laughing stock.... but really what they are saying is that they want the extortion to continue, they want their buddies to keep taking from the kids as long as they can look good. Lisa won't ever be over the levy defeat. Every meeting she is on "when ya goin for a levy"?

OMG I am embarrassed fro them. You gals need to stop destroying this community and its good reputation. You are not amaaaazing, You are embarrassing us.

This is the reality of the rest of Springboro. John Agenbroad was overheard saying that Springboro does not have a financial crisis, there are no foreclosures here. Interesting the Democrats in this town don't get it at all they just keep spending like no one is watching or hurting. I only want real people in these public offices. You can't know what the rest of the voters experience unless you are one.

While it's true it is so-o-o embarrassing hearing these bitter and revengeful Levy Ladies (backed by union support) parade around town and public meetings trashing and bashing the accomplishments of our new board; it is also an opportunity for those who support the leadership of our new board to "set the record straight." Just tell the levy ladies and their coalition of schoolyard bullies that "we know we did the right thing" by electing three strong, moral, community supporters who are doing what's right putting our children's future first!
And let us take time out of our busy schedules to say a special Thank You to Kelly Kohls, David Petroni, and Jim Rigano, whenever
we have opportunity at board mettings or just around town.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Keep in mind that it was a union supported coalition led by Scott Anderson and Don Millr who led a community wide attack on our BOE majority members who support transparency in our school district finances, fairness in our pay to play fees, and our Children First Budgeting plan.
While our school district is moving on and we are now focused on our new board's accomplishments, we
need to remember that the Anderson/Miller anti-education coalition on March 27 protested against our children's future and reversed the "plan" which was in the best interest of our children's education (and within our Board of Education's agreed upon goals) but the real question is WHY?
Those who know the answer need to spread the truth, simply put; because Scott Anderson and Don Miller supported former school board candidates, Lisa Babb and Gentry Ellis; and many members of the district unions also supported these two candidates; and supported the third candidate, Jane Gregg. These three candidates were not elected; but they have been at the front of this continued course to discredit and bully the elected school board into resigning or to render them ineffective.
Don Miller remains an elected official; and still Don Miller consistently argues, protests, and votes against our children's best interests first. Why?...it is asked?
Well, as this new board has stated, we have significant academic issues to address; and this continued assault on our school board seeks to slow the new board's accomplishments, hurting our kids; while Don Miller and his union backed coalition continue "bullying" for more power as they position themselves for negotiations.

Based on information presented at the last public school board meeting, our new board and new school administration team have fully reviewed and firmed up our existing Booster organizational/school district policies that will protect our schools athletic boosters fundraising business and strengthen our schools athletic program.
In addition to reviewing "District Duties" and "Organization Duties" a "Concession Oversight Team" is now in place (comprised of Superintendent, CFO, and one rep from each group) to review monthly financials. This committee will look into other third party supplies and uniform pricing. Oversight team meetings will be held on September 25; October 23; and December ll, 2012.
Looks like our school district and Springboro community are on our way to a brighter day doing what's right for our school children.
And for New Beginnings in a new direction for our children's future, we can express sincere appreciation and thanks to our new school board and school superintendent. Thank You!

Sometime during this coming Saturday afternoon, Mitt Romney's campaign has scheduled a stop northwest of Columbus in Powell, OH. Approximately 3 miles up the road in nearby Lewis Center, the opening meeting of the Ohio School Board Leadership Council (OSBLC) is to convene at 1PM.

I can't think of a more shrewd, brass ring opportunity for Mitt Romney than to make a surprise stop at this OSBLC meeting. I believe doing so would in essense ally Romney's campaign with a continually growing number of public school communities nationally that have discovered how to internally take the reins in terms of controlling overspending in their schools. Ronmey could utilize a stop at this inaugural OSBLC meeting to highlight the fiscal priorities of students before other agendas, as well as speak to the values and life lessons leaned from student volunteerism.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Cancer

Take care because it's a rather downbeat day. You feel as though you have the cares of the world on your shoulders, and maybe you have. You've certainly got to cope with a lot of responsibility and duty, and there could also be delays and disappointments that need to be negotiated. Yes, it's a fairly miserable day but try to rise above it, otherwise you'll soon start to feel really wretched and sorry for yourself.
