You would think someone who claims to be a gun owner would have something relevant to say on the topic. Like, there is no "gun culture" anymore than there is a "war on christmas" or a "war on women". It's just a talking point invented by the media to sell papers and add space.

Have another dozen drinks, drunk...

"Dry Drunk" has been described as "A condition of returning to one's old alcoholic thinking and behavior without actually having taken a drink." Or as one wise old drunk put it, if a horse thief goes into A.A. what you can end up with is a sober horse thief. Or a personal favorite: you can take the rum out of the fruit cake, but you've still got a fruit cake!

Those who quit drinking but are still angry about it, wind up living miserable lives and usually make everyone else around them miserable too. If it has been said once in an Al-Anon meeting, it has been whispered thousands of times, "I almost wish he would go back to drinking."

Thanks for doing the Public Service of posting this explanation.....I assume it is from your "Program", but it is good stuff for those who suffer to hear.

Do you have any perspectives on the point of this Thread?

Or is it just the Angry Dry Drunk from Seattle that is spewing hatered again?

What do you find most effective in treating your Mental Illness.....Thorazine or excessive imbibing of alcohol?

The Thorazine seems to have plateaued(?)....perhaps chugging a pint of Everclear along with your Thorazine will give your tortured mind the "rest" it deserves?

Think of your fellow human beings once in a while!

I believe that Slew is attempting to answer your question, saying that drinking until he/she/it passes out works best.

Daily Horoscope for June 17

Capricorn

If you've been grappling with a knotty problem recently you could have a breakthrough today when you suddenly see the light. It will help to discuss the whole thing with other people because they'll help you to view it from a fresh perspective, and that could make all the difference. Don't worry if you come up with a rather strange or unusual solution, because that may be exactly what's needed.
