1 http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/politics/A-Dis... <SNIP> After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective. But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him? Anyone at home aware of the major news story of the previous hours had to have been stunned. An incident like this requires a scrapping of the early light banter. The president should apologize for the tone of his remarks, explain what has happened, express sympathy for those slain and appeal for calm and patience until all the facts are in. That's the least that should occur. <SNIP> |

1 There is a tipping point, and when we've arrived at that tipping point, there's no going back, we'll have lost our land, and our freedom, that so many shed their blood for us, and died for us in combat, and we've given away our country without a wimper.

1 This is the Soros funded office across the street. That midnight move only needed to look like a move. The media thinks it will be safe. This is what the good Germans thought. |

1 This is a person that is culturally conflicted because he uis a Muslim living in a Christian country. When he was sent to fort Hood to treat soldiers coming back from combat in Iraq he heard their stories about fighting people of his religion and it became too much for him to take. The US Department of State is bringing 1,350 more Palestinians to be resettled in our country. they will not be happy living here because they will not be able to adjust to our way-of-life: http://www.tcunation.com/forum/topics/does-th... |

1 I take it you are Christian, This is the reason why people of the world will never live in peace with each other. RELIGION! The only thing it does is seperate people from being able to live amongst each other and look at other human beings as being equal to ones self. If you say we need to watch all Muslims, we need to watch all Christians also. Look at the Majority of Population in Prison systems. Look at the Majority of Murders and Crime that happen in the U.S. Most are Christian!! How about the 125+ murders that happen in my city of Oakland every year. Alot of the people that commit those murders are Christian. I do not condone the killings that just happen, But I also do not condone seperating people because of certain people in their religion that take shit to far. Dont forget Tim Mcveigh was a Christian and was a Veteran. |

1 What a load of shit. The Weathermen NEVER bombed anyone on purpose. They ALWAYS targeted areas where no people would be, and gave advance warning. The only deaths they ever caused were their own, when a bomb exploded prematurely. More importantly, NONE of this has anything to do with Obama. What a despicable liar you are. |

1 I would also rather see America die a courageous death instead of being taken over by rabid Muslim dogs! How would Washington and his men react to the encroachment of the descendents of Ottoman Turks and Barbary Pirates breeding on American soil? Allowing Islam to flourish on American soil is similar to decent Germans allowing Nazism to sprout unfettered in their country. If you see a rattlesnake in your home, kill it before it strikes! |

he is a muslum terrorist. Culturally conflicted no way. When muslums come here there children become americanized. They realize that the muslum culture is so out of date. you are making excuses for a cold blooded murderer. |

1 No. What you are advocating is EXACTLY like Nazi Germany-- namely, killing or deporting an entire group you disagree with. Your position is disgusting, and un-American. |
