See, all a gay Christian has to do is pray away the gay, according to scripture. The only problem is of course these verses like your 6 anti-gay verses are pure BS. They are proof God does not exist and the Bible is a hoax the biggest hoax ever sold.

In order to counteract the patent inaccuracy of these premises, apologists seek modification through James 4:3 and 1 John 5:14. The former says, "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask remiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." In other words, the reason the prayers of the sick, the old, the infirm, the afflicted, etc. have not been answered is because they were based on lust, greed and other selfish motives. It's hard to believe even hardened apologists really believe this. On the other hand, 1 John 5:14 ("...if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us") represents a more subtle ploy. Prayers are not answered because they do not comply with God's will. The problems with this explanation are:•(a) the earlier verses said nothing about God's will or the need to fulfill His desires, and
•(b) judging from many prayers which people feel were answered, one can't help but question God's morality. Praying, for example, that one's relative will die in order to inherit his wealth and having your wish materialize, does not speak well for God.

"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you"--Matt. 17:20 and "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you"--Luke 17:6. Also note Matt. 21:21.

Yet, despite promises of tremendous strength, those with the strongest faith are often the weakest, the most helpless individuals in society. They often resort to faith because all else has failed.

If nothing is impossible for the con artist from Pekin Ill, then why do you keep repeating the same stupid verses from the same stupid book which no one on the earth believes anyway.

Trying to argue that homosexuality is a debatable topic among Christians is ridiculous. The Bible is clear in every translation, Old and New Testament, that homosexuality is a sin, and a person living in a pattern of sin is not a true follower of Christ.

Yes, I have researched this topic and can take you back to the original Greek translation. I suggest you do the same before making an argument on a topic you know nothing about apart from what you read on biased web sites.

Oh, and just because God loves the world (John 3:16) does not mean that everyone in the world is a Christian and going to heaven. God loves sinners and Christians alike.

To close, Psalm 100 was perfectly within their rights to dismiss a member who disagreed with the group’s core constitution, which is the Bible.

Washington gov signs gay marriage bill into law

It's a historic moment, but same-sex couples can't walk down the aisle just yet.

Opponents planned to file a challenge Monday that could put the law on hold pending the outcome of a November vote. Separately, an initiative was filed at the beginning of the session that opponents of gay marriage say could lead to the new law being overturned.

For one, I DO NOT believe in organized religion and never said that. I said I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. That is not necessarily religion and should put your last jab to rest.

As for brain dead and smart-ass (name calling is not God's way), I was just pointing out that you had already said that, and I'm not into repeating myself. There's not any part of me that's deceptive, dishonest and decietful. And I never thought that way of you. I guess that's the difference between me being one of God's children and you not. You're the one not being nice.

I've had too many miracles in my life to NOT believe. When a world-renowned cardiac surgeon looks at you and tells you there's absolutely no reason why you're still alive, and he doesn't know how you are, you HAVE to look past what we as humans understand and know there's a higher power than us mere mortals running things. My life is wonderful and I only have one person to thank, GOD!!! He's awesome, isn't he?:):)

-its full of history. Historians back the events of the bible. Granted some cant like the garden of eden n flood cuz it was a one time deal. But temple of solomon, king david, the eygptians, even the roman emperor who gave Jesus to the people to b hanged was real.

- regardless of my belief, the 1/3 still belives in the Bible. I may not agree in detail with the entire 1/3 but im still part of em whom believe in that book.

And can a theory be proven and still be called a theory?
You seem to use any discord in the science community as proof that no one knows anything. Couldn't I use your same logic to show that any discord among Christians proves that no one truly understands what god wants?

Evolution is a theory. Nothing more. Its not scientific. If it were scientific, it could b proven. It can not. No scientist can put an ape on the table n see it evolve. Cant b done. Regardless how close there dna is to ours, they r apes n we r humans. Both can only create within each of there dna. No animal or human has evolved from anything. The animals have always been diversed since beginning of the creation of the Earth. Evolutionists take the fossil record n rearrange the order to satisfy there belief. It is incorrect. There was no ice age, no asteriod hitting the earth n killing he dinos, no sea creature evolving on land, n no ape evolving into man. All ideas n theories. Cant b proven.
