Looming disaster: Erosion, landslide threaten Akwa Ibom

The threat to life and natural habitat is considered serious indeed. For some communities in Akwa Ibom State, this fear of erosion menace has left them crying for help.

I would suggest to the present Government to invest in building longer lasting trees to curb soil erosion. The government should also be encouraged to prevent deforestation in order to build houses. For every tree felled the lumberjack needs to build a replacement.We need to maintain a balanced ecosystem so that wild life as well as tamed life would be preserved. Ms Nike Newton.

The way out of every situation is to know that root cause of it. i believe it is the time we should built according to the structure and give a way to nature to take normal course.
