The Constitution makes no mention of marriage anyway, so your point is moot.

Traditional marriage is an age old institution, it doesn't need a vote, but for those who would prefer same sex marriages, it will need a vote under the present discrimination it faces.

I think that is what most anti gay forces want, but when you consider the changing trends, it's possible their push for "let the people vote" may blow up in their faces.

When that happens I'm sure we'll see a big turn around in the whole "activist liberal judges " claim and they will be running to the courts to try to stop it.

Just as past discriminations were finally stopped by federal law, discrimination against homosexuals should be stopped. Remember a majority wanted segregation to continue in the South, so taking that as a guideline maybe the vote is a bad idea, like you said, it could blow up in gay marriage proponents faces.

Marriage between different races were condemned in America for a majority of its history up until 1967, so it might just take some time to get same sex marriages legitimized.

These dudes remind me of the 'Law and Order' freaks of yesterday.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
