They have NEVER been able to come up with a single rational reason to deny marriage rights to same-sex couples.

They have NEVER been able to explain how denying marriage rights to same-sex couples would somehow encourage heteros to marry and be responsible for their kids.

They have NEVER been able to explain how denying marriage rights to same-sex couples would somehow prevent opposite-sex couples from getting divorced.

They have NEVER been able to explain why the legal protections of marriage are so necessary for opposite-sex couples raising children, but are NOT necessary for same-sex couples raising chidren.

It's hateful bigotry, pure & simple.
