Peter Boyles, looked back at the case during his December 28, 2011 show.
http://www.khow.com/main.html

Rick: I worked for the city of Boulder for 39 years, and I was working for them at the time, and I knew pretty much every cop that showed up that day, and I was talking to them later and a couple of things they were very upset about...

PB: Let me do...[stutters a bit]...I wanna' talk to you...close to a traffic break, I want to give you plenty of time. Can I put you on hold?

Rick: You got it.

PB: Ricky, hang on everybody....

[break]

PB: curt, I had to put you on hold, I apologize, and you worked in Boulder and you knew the cops, so if you would pick it up, please.

Rick: Okay. I knew pretty much all the police that were involved with that and the thing that really bothered them was as soon as this evidently started Patsy called Leslie Durgin, the mayor...

PB: Right.

Rick:...and told her what had happened.

PB: I dubbed her the Great Leslie.

Rick: You betcha'. Well, Durgin immediately called [Chief] Koby at home and according to a very good source said, "Look at: these are personal friends of mine," because they were in cancer treatment together, "and please handle them with kid gloves. This is a terrible tragedy." That's why the place was immediately opened and the crime scene was destroyed. And many of the police there, including Rick French, Tom Trujillo, bunch of them, the officer--I just spaced his name--who wrote the book, were so enraged. They couldn't believe it, cause it went right out the door, the whole case.

PB:[interrupts] Yeah, but I don't know, that's pretty far-fetched....

Two INITIAL comments

1. Amazing how Patsy, in her time of confusion and grief had the ability and wherewithall to call her friend, the MAYOR, along with everyone else it seems, when she couldn't even function

2. That would explain Hunter's refusal to obtain phone records and would explain Hunter's refusal to do a lot of things regarding this case.

Is it any wonder why Hunter was considered corrupt when you put all the pieces together! It's no wonder, we knew there was a fly in the ointment if you will and little by little, the pieces start to fit together

Unfortunately, a little girl died and there will never be any justice for her

I'm trying to determine the intent of your post?...

What are we supposed to derive from this "snippet"?

Basically, Rick is saying "Someone told me that a very good source told them that Patsy said/did ________."

The topic of this interview, ahem hearsay, does not even provide slightly "incriminating" evidence.

So, what is the point of this post?

What parameters for discussion would you prefer to establish?

You could go to the link and watch/listen the 7 youtube parts of the interview and check the other resources provided and derive your own discussion points, or you can continue to ask meaningless questions.

wasn't Durgin the one that went in front of cameras and told all of Boulder a killer WASN'T on the loose? All these years I wondered why the Ramseys didn't sue Boulder over her remarks, because her remarks pointed directly at them as the 'kidnapper or kidnappers'. Ahhh, now I get it. And that's why FW said "the fix is in". Is Durgin still alive?

Cynic's posts are great. I've seen them and they are always well supported with links and relevant background. Wasn't he here for awhile, before moving on to a more rational environment?

Yes, I'm pretty sure that was her who made those remarks. You should also go on FFJ and listen to some of the parody songs on the links. Very funny stuff

The Ramseys were very selective about who they sued. They only sued people who would settle and ran like the wind when faced with having to enter a courtroom

Um, shouldn't Durgin be held accountable for this? Did I read that right, Durgin put the breaks on this case because Patsy "told her what happened"? Wha?

This board IS bedlam, maybe someday it won't be. Pretty interesting stuff over there Figwit. It is one "ah ha" moment after another.

It seems clear to me, if this is really true and Patsy called her, that Patsy told Durgin BRDI. How else could she explain and get "kid glove" treatment? She couldn't say she walked in on JR molesting JB and she swung and missed, nor could she tell Durgin she turned into Sandy Stranger and killed JB to make an angel. And what if it's true that Patsy told Durgin BRDI, but BR didn't do it?

One way for John & Patsy to 'get off' is to lay blame on the son, to use him, take advantgae of the situation as he was too young to be charged.

Why was my thread with my transcript of the callers taken down, but this one stays up, with a transcript WEEKS LATER? I put mine up the day this showed aired, LAST YEAR.

This is just a CALLER on a radio talk show. He's not under oath. We don't know if what he said happened, or happened the way he said the cops said it happened. And he didn't go into detail as to what "laying off" meant, or resulted in.

Quote: "The Ramseys were very selective about who they sued. They only sued people who would settle and ran like the wind when faced with having to enter a courtroom."

They sued primarily the DEEP POCKETED news media, which are always targets as they have MONEY. They NEVER ran from a courtroom, the Wolf case went all the way to a Judge, it was STEVE THOMAS that did that.

I would think it might be because you had the whole transcript posted instead of links. Many media outlets have web crawlers looking for their content, and when it is found in it's entirety, it is removed from wherever it is found. I wasn't trying to rain on your parade by posting this. Why didn't you re-post it sooner with just links?
