I talked to the producer today 1/10/12. Here's the poop. The producer sets the interviews up. He has not talked to Garnett personally but to his "gatekeeper". The producer said the gatekeeper said Garnett is "amenable", I assume meaning willing to so the interview. But as the producer said "they do the hits", the hot topics of the day, and they didn't get the interview set up in time and the caucuses and primaries and Broncos took precedence. The producer said he is still working on it though and look for it on a "cornerstone" i.e. Friday. No specifics were mentioned.

Thanks Brother Moon. On Friday, all anyone is going to want to discuss is the BIG game on Saturday, Tebow v. Brady. Maybe next week.

If he goes on the show, chances are, to keep the listeners tuned in, they will tease throughout the show with "coming up, JBR" and toward the very end of the show, they will ask a few questions to which he will offer vagueries and explain that he can't give information on an ongoing investigation. How can you expect Garnett to be honest about solving JonBenet's death or his other job responsibilities if he doesn't keep appointments.

This case should have been removed from Boulder's jurisdiction over a decade ago.

He's been VERY busy. His office just ran a secret grand jury and got an indictment about a diabetic man who used his insulin as a weapon, indicted a cold case, and who knows what else.

There was no appointment.
The ony shift that could have been done legally would be from a county to a state jurisdiction at the behest of the Governor. Any hopes of that are also Pollyanna-ish.

DA Stan Garnett is PERSONALLY trying a VERY high profile murder case in Boulder right now, something Alex Hunter NEVER did. Stan Garnett is an awesome change for the better in every way in Boulder.

Stan Garnett is a political ladder climber who distanced himself from the Ramsey case tarbaby. The last thing he is going to do is interrupt an opportunity to put a gold star on his resume to take 5 minutes on a radio show that might muss his plastic political hair. Get real Pollyanna.
