She put way too much stock into what they had to say without investigating. we have to remember Lacy's been deeply involved since the start. Burnt fish ring a bell? How about the warroom break in that proved she used her pass to get in? Hunter waved his arms for us to look the other way and poo pooed it as a mistake, but the damage was done and I have never forgotten Lacy was the one that broke in and her burnt fish story was more than fishy. She's always lurked behind this case.

It was no big deal according to Hunter and it all went away rather quickly without explanation. We're supposed to believe Lacy was home grilling a trout at midnight and darned the luck, she burned the sucker! So, naturally, she did what any of the IDI would do and ran that burnt fish straight to the justice center's dumpster. While laboring at that, somehow she found herself inside messing with the computers. No big deal! No stranger than Dr Beuf claiming JBR's med records were stolen from his safe deposit box at the bank. heh heh heh

You are too funny! I guess we are supposed to believe that. Look how many people on this forum alone would and do believe that

Look how many people on this forum alone would and do believe that HA! They read Smit's so called interrogation of JR and call him the best darned detective ever there was, of course they'd grill trout at midnight (probably drunk) and take their garbage to their workplace and tamper with someone else's computer while they're at it, too.

Ole South wrote: <quoted text> I have always felt that JR had known about JB's molestation and had confided in FW about this knowledge. And when JB was killed, since he knew about the molestation, he also felt or had found out the same person, JAR, had been a party to the murder. And since he had told FW about the molestation, that was why FW was taking notes when he came over that morning -- he was trying to figure out in his own mind if JAR could have been involved since he was already aware of the prior molestation because John had told him about it. Also, he didn't want to be the one to point his finger at his friends's son. I think all his actions in Atlanta were directly resulting from his knowledge of what had happened and how John was going public with the intruder story when he knew the real story. I also believe FW had told Priscilla all about it and that is what she was referring to when she confronted Patsy about her knowing "all about it" and Patsy responding to her as she did. I also believe Lin Wood was trying to smoothe things over with FW in an attempt to keep FW from telling what he knew and that's also why JR has denied the blow-up in Atlanta. So, actually the dark skeletons in FW's closet are related to JR having told him all about his son's molestation of JB and although FW didn't want to snitch on what he knew, he also didn't want to be a party to JR's cover-up attempt. All in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, Ole South. While I value your opinion and am able to see where you're coming from, I don't share your good opinion of Fleet and Priscilla White. I say that with respect and trust you won't be offended. I don't believe that either of the Whites would have kept such a dark secret to themselves and carried such a heavy burden on their shoulders (and consciences) all these years. If they were REALLY good and loyal friends, initially maybe they would have in the hope that the truth would come to light without them having to be the ones to betray their friends. But as time went by and the years passed with no prospect of this case being resolved, I believe that they'd have come forward to tell the police what they know because there is no doubt that the Whites have suffered as a result of this case. Fleet was one of the DA's top three suspects at one time and rumour, gossip and speculation have haunted them for the past fifteen years. Fleet himself has stated that this case has cost him his reputation and career. While I'm not sure what career exactly, his reputation is forever tainted and I believe, if innocent, the Whites' natural reaction would be to do whatever's necessary to clear their names and lift the dark cloud which has hung over them all this time. Blood is thicker than water. We have to consider too that IF the Whites are protecting the Ramseys, they are complicit to murder, a serious crime for which they could go to prison. I can't think of a single person I know who'd be prepared to sacrifice and risk that much to protect a child molester/murderer and the family who were covering up for him.

Between Wood and Smit, the Ramseys barely answered any questions and like you said, rather than press for answers, Smit just conveniently prompted John with "or you don't remember?" LOL As for Lacy and Hunter, I've stated before that in order for her to have secured her job as a DA with Hunter's endorsement, she had to pay her dues and do what was asked of her before the election and during the early days of the investigation and throughout. She knew where her bread was buttered.

Thanks to both of you. The kitty is my "Bugsy". Notice his "devil eyes?" LOL But as for Fleet White, of course I don't mind your disagreeing with me. You very well can be right! But I doubt that any of us know for certain what FW said in those sealed documents. And they might back up or be the cause of why LE has looked so closely at the Ramseys but since his own role is suspicious, maybe they need more evidence than what he could provide. So, if his sealed depos say anything about his role (if any) in concealing what he knows, that should eliminate him from being complicit to murder. And just think if he did go public with this information! His worth as a witness in the case would have fallen through the roof. And while blood IS thicker than water, he might feel that if he ever gets the chance, his information would be worth far more as a witness in court than to try to save his reputation. People think what they WANT TO THINK (just look all around us). So maybe he just has more resolve than others. JMO
