undrtheradar wrote: The folowing r direct quotes from John and Patsy Ramsey's book " The Death of Innocence". John is describing what he did 2 get the money after finding the ransom note on the day of the crime "I call my banker friend Rod Westmoreland n Atlanta 2 arrange 4 the ransom money and discovr that he has left 4 his parents home n Tupelo,Mississippi (Go figure, not at home on the day of the murder). I get through 2 his asistant at Atlanta's Merrill Lynch office; I'm thankful 2day is a work day. I quickly explain what has happened, and she says she'll get n touch with Rod right away". " The phone rings. Everyone freezes as I slowly pick up the receiver". "Hello, " I answer tentatively. "John, This is Rod. We've arranged 4 u 2 have a credit line of $118,000 dollars on your Visa card. You can go 2 a local bank and get the money as a cash advance". ( So n my opinion this proves that the only person on the planet, who could have said at the time that the ransom note was written, "If we monitor u getting the money early, then we will call u early 2 arrange the pick up of your daughter", without ever telling John n the ransom note which specific branch 2 go 2, is Rod Westmoreland. Because as u've just read from the book, the money was set up on a Visa, so John could have picked the money up at any bank that he wanted 2.) "John Fernie has been n contact with the president of a local bank, a personal friend of his, and is working 2 get the ransom money ready. John(Fernie not Ramsey) goes 2 the bank with my credit card 2 get the cash". (John Ramsey, never goes 2 the bank himself. Who is the only person on the planet now that can "monitor when John gets the money early?" Rod Westmoreland. That is a very important clue. This controlling, manipulating, puppetteer, who likes 2 control everything, never feels the need 2 tell John which specific bank branch 2 go 2 n order 2 "monitor" John. Yet he still seems 2 know everything! Rod Westmoreland would know everything without having 2 tell John which bank branch 2 go 2. It was an unconscious mistake!) ( you are trippin!

Several of us stopped posting here because of one or two posters. There is one poster who posts under several names...it's obvious.
undrtheradar...send your info. to the authorities...send these posts...but, my gosh, please stop trying to convince us...we hear you...move on to something else...some facts would do.

Ok. You say over and over to go not after you but your theory. Here is a thought in regards to your suspect not being home in Atlanta. It was Christmas, was it not? Millions of people travel to spend the holiday with family. Can you prove that your suspect was not where he said he was going to be (ie his parents)? If not then merely not being home for Christmas is not suspect in the least.
And while I am not convinced of your suspects guilt, or his innocence, I think that you are in error about Autumn. Here is why. She in fact did invite you to go ahead and contact Boulder DA. If she had anything to hide that would be a fool move. Also, having not heard from her is also not conclusive proof that she is he. As if you read her posts, she specifically stated that she was going to ignore you.

It is heartwrenchingly tragic that the death of a poor little girl has spawned so much internet whackiness. "Theories" such as this just crack me up.

Excuse me, but my father is no killer, I am greatly infuriated that you would make such assumptions without even knowing the man. I would like to inform you that he goes to visit his parents every other week. They have been recovering from cancer.(yes, both of them.)

I would like to inform you that he goes to visit his parents every other week. They have been recovering from cancer.(yes, both of them.) Well if you are who you really say you are the first thing I want to tell you is that I'm sorry. I understand exactly the way you feel because I would feel the exact same way. Believe me when I tell you this, I wish I didn't have to say I believe your father committed this crime. I am also very sorry to hear about your grandparents. And your right, I never met your father and don't know him personally at all. And I'm glad that you admitted that fact so that puts the theory to rest that this is personal between us. I want you to ask yourself this question...Why would a lonely poster from some little known internet forum, want to name your dad as the killer in this case? We have just established the fact that it can't be personal. I also want you to keep this VERY IMPORTANT fact in mind.....That when this lonely internet poster first began naming your dad as the possible suspect in this case back in 2004 or so, almost 99% of the people posting in the Jonbenet forums had never even heard of your father. Which by the way I'm glad that has changed atleast for history sake. So why me? Why your dad? It's because the clues led me to him. I had never even heard of your father before 2001. I'm not about to sit here and try to convince you of what I believe is your father's involvment. I truly believe that we will all know soon, once and for all if he was involved or not. And if he wasn't involved I would be the very first to apologize to you and your whole family. I said it once before, this case was brought into my home, so I have every right to point out the obvious facts that everyone else seemed to overlook, that your father was right smack dab in the middle of everything before, DURING, and after the crime, yet shockingly for years, until I came along, no one even knew who he was! The "Forgotten Suspect" i like to call him. I would not be doing my civic duty if I didn't say what I knew. The only thing I can tell you is don't blame me, blame God, because it is he, who set me out on this journey almost 8 years ago, to find the man I never even met before, sadly your father. I'm sorry.

If you are his daughter, then you did him no favors by dragging an old thread out of the topics cellar. The thread was started in 2006, had rested until 2008 when it got bumped up with two posts, and now.... it's alive again.
Next time, let sleeping threads lie.

I think Rod is an extremly viable suspect, like sunshine said, he was there in the middle of everything befor, during and after the crime. He was a banker and would have known about Johns Bonus and his financial situation. That certainly does not prove guilt but he should surely be looked at more closley by the BPD.
