Was Baby Jesus an Illegal Immigrant?

Dec 23, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The American Spectator

At Christmas time, should the Nativity story be interpreted as a tale of solidarity with illegal immigrants? Some religious voices, anxious to push some version of liberalized immigration policy as a Christian imperative, describe Jesus and the Holy Family as the most premier of illegal immigrants.

Specifically now, exactly what laws were in effect at that time and in what places they went that they broke?

Oh, you think but you aren't really sure?

Give it up.

1. He had to and was circumcised within jewish tradition and law. That was an official and religious requirement in isreal.

2. He was consecrated at the temple 8 days later.

Both of these actions were part of jewish law and allowed by the romans at the time.

3. Thirdly his parents reported to the authorities for the census.

This was required and met roman law at the time.

His parents made sure he and they met all citizenship requirements at the time.

Thus, Jesus was legitimate, not an immigrant and certainly not illegal.

You're a Jesus pillow biter. That means you worship a fugitive... criminal, vandal, and illegal alien.

Jesus's parents did not goto the authorities when Rome demanded all first borns to be killed.

His parents harbored an illegal alien criminal fugitive.

Jesus was also a sexual deviant. He loved to hand around prostitutes.

When did rome demand all firstborns to be killed? Only after a psychotic maniac (herod) found out about the prophecy and demanded that all children under 3 years old be killed. That would be three years after the birth of christ, not before or at the time of his birth.

Sorry, the census was demanded in the year of christ's birth, his parents went to bethlehem and registered and were counted. They had the child circumcised and presented him at the temple. They fled to nazareth, that was not illegal. They were citizens, not illegals, did the right thing, were not illegal and therefore Jesus was NOT an illegal alien.

When it came time for mary to give birth, they travel to their home town of Bethelem to register.

They entered ancient Egypt. And from what we gather from Matthew—they likely only stayed in Egypt a year or two. For Matthew tells us that after the death of Herod, they returned to Israel and settled in Galilee. Jesus in time grew to be an adult who went about calling men and women to submit to the rule of God. So what does God say about immigration.
Where there is no immigraion laws there can be no illegal aleins. An alien is not always illegal.

God and his son are both white. Prove otherwise or STFU and GTFO.
Excerpts from the bible suggest otherwise. Looks like God is chrysolite & bronze... not white. Seems God was a anything but white.

Ezekiel 43:2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.
Daniel 10:6 His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
