Stephen wrote: Why are catholic priests getting involved with politics and law enforcement? I am tired of these priests advocating breaking our laws. They enjoy tax exempt status for their income and wealth and yet they continue to violate our laws by aiding and encouraging illegal immigration. The catholic church should lose it's tax exempt status. Priests who encourage illegal immigration should be prosecuted and jailed. Nobody is above the law, not even priests. We have separation of church and state. If you become politically active as a religion, then you forfeit your tax exempt status. The Catholic church depends on Hispanic immigrants (illegal/legal) to prop up its rapidly-dwindling membership. 40%+ of Catholics in the U.S. are now Hispanic.

Let's get them to march to Tijuana. When they're there, get them to start building that wall.

Back just before we got involved in World War II the Germans ILLEGALLY INVADED France, Poland and Russia. China tried to ILLEGALLY INVADE Korea and Vietnam. We stepped up every time one country ILLEGALLY INVADED another yet we are expected to sit on our hands while the Illegals FROM MEXICO come here killing, raping and taking what does not legally belong to them? I think NOT. This is our country and YES we have the RIGHT to defend her and when the government fails to do so we the citizens have the RIGHT to stand together and to fight this hoard of Mexicans and if a few legal Mexicans get hurt in the process then that is just too bad. We need to drop the this American or That American and start claiming that we ARE AMERICANS. Whenever I see an American with his or her family I do not see a race or color all I see is an AMERICAN. However when someone junps in my face screaming that they are a Mexican or a Black American my first reaction is if you like Mexico or Africa so much then by all means go back to Africa or to Mexico and be happy but stay THE F**K OUT OF MY FACE about it. You want to march and protest then I'm all for it as long as you do it in MEXICO CITY. You want to show your MEXICAN PRIDE then fine do it in MEXICO. We can't even go shopping any more without being asked do we want to finalize our transaction in Spanish or english as if speaking English is a bad thing and only people who speak Spanish deserve to be shopping in our stores. Don't take my word for it look at the card swiping machines. You first must pick between Spanish and english. The self check outs you are asked if you want to check out in Spanish or english. ENGLISH is the Legal language spoken here and if a person is unable to SPEAK ENGLISH then they really have no business shopping in one of our stores. European Americans ILLEGALLY INVADED this country hundreds of years ago and then decided along with some other nice folks to masacare 60 million Indians. Now what? I believe this is called karma, even if it's hundreds of years later. What one does in their country is their affair. Whatever the Indians were doing or not doing was for no one to judge or become involved in. It was not a land to be stolen, taken - yet it was done. Now what? Maybe now you will be the ones to be put on a reservation. Now wouldn't that be poetic justice?

I had to pull my child (Who's family has been here since the 1600's and fought in every war that made this the great free country that it is) from public school because he was not being taught anything for the first 3 years of his education because they had so many ESL slowing the curriculum down. My older child waited for 9 HOURS in the emergency room after being sent by his doctor to the ER for suspected apendicitis. I had to switch high schools to a higher class neighborhood than the one we are zoned for because he was being called a white boy and being threatened. People can not get jobs unless they speak spanish. You are telling me that this is not a threat? Yes, I too say wake up America, quickly. And where did that family live before 1600, another country? The White House was built and Wal-Mart thrived! If you can trace your family back to 1600, great! For me I don't need to as my family arrived via a big, big wooden boat over 40 days was the trip. They reported to Ellis Island for permission to approach. Now you can spin your tale however you want, but unless you were around over 408 years ago give it a rest!

If your family is not totally Native American, then you stole the land from the Native Americans. BTW, you need to be a member of the Serrano Indian tribe to be a true Native of where you live. If you are a Mexican-American, then you stole the land from the Native Americans. Since the way you post, I believe that your ancestors stole the land from the Native Americans! But nice try on blaming us for what your ancestors did! Interesting twist for your guilt!

If your family needed permission to come on board moron, then they didn't belong here - which means you don't belong here either. My ancestors didn't need permission because they were born on this land way before your ancestors requested permission - now you do the spinning.

What a stupid thing to say. people have been migrating to places which were not "their original birthplaces" since the beginning of time. That's why, dumbmsh@t, people are all over the globe. The tribes who survived and thrived were generally the most technologically advanced. In the modern age that would be the white tribes. I feel so bad. The Latinos, who contribute so little to the world in terms of environmentalism (all their countries are disaster areas except perhaps Costa Rica), peace, equal rights, virtually any of the important movements of the modern age, Latinos stand out for being a part of NONE of them. The only movements they involve themselves in are those that serve themselves. Very impressive. Human cruelty is an unfortunate condition that affects all races and cultures. Latinos do stand out in that area.

Your comment is only meant to avoid the subject - meaning as usual, you do not want to own up too the true meaning of illegal which runs in your blood from hundreds of years past. Instead you whine and cry and shout about something you and your family have done - which makes you a true hypocrite besides the truest illegal immigrant.

Personally, in a modern global age, I realize I am a native just like everyone else - of planet earth. People who continue to fight over neighborhoods, cities, states, countries and continents are intellectually inferior and risk being relegated to the ash bin of history. Get with the program and work for peace and an end of self serving freeloaders or go play with the children and leave the discussion to the adults...
