Give Saul another 3-4 years - his celebrity will be driven by his drug gang crimes instead of by a stage madre (mother) with an ego of maniacal proportions.

That's exactly why he's here. This kid was Elvira's meal ticket as well as her shield. This gives that fool preacher a chance to get his ugly mug back into the news too.
