I support a federal law that would deny gays, or gay activists, from purchasing, owning, carrying, or using any type of firearm-specifically those gays, or gay activists, that hide behind a bucket of chicken sandwhiches, which obvioulsy obstructed the aiming of the weapon.

I also support a federal law that would restrict gays, or gay activists, from purchasing a "bucket" of anything, or even a "bucket" in any shape or form, that could be used to conceal criminal intent.

I also support a federal law that would prohibit gays, or gay activists, from purchasing any sort of food product that required the killing of an animal, and then used in a conspiracy, or act, to commit a criminal offense.(That's kinda chicken s--t thinking to me).

I also support a federal law that would require gays, or gay activists, to refrain from being gay.

Oh brother, do you want to compare statistics of "intolerance" between homosexuals and heterosexuals?
How many homosexuals have been treated like they were less than human by so called "Christians" or people with "traditional" values? How many beatings? How many deaths for just being who they are?
The reality is that your traditional values are based on prejudice against other human beings.
So there is an insight as to what you believe.

Traditional values are based on a Judeo/Christian world view that is defined through God's Word.

Your statement equates God with being hateful and prejudice. You are afforded the right in our country to think that way and likewise other people are given the right to uphold their views and beliefs that God defines right and wrong.

The reality is that good people do not become bad people simply because they hold a different view than you regarding homosexuality.

Which word(s) is causing you to see a conflict?

All through old and new testament writings, there are people working and running businesses.

Jesus was a carpenter, by trade.

Paul, a tent maker, said he ensured that he worked so as to not be a burden on others.(America could sure use that message today!)

No, my statement equates those who practice their hatred in the name of their Christian beliefs and so called "traditional" values with hate crimes and prejudice towards homosexuals and other minorities for that matter.

I'll ask the question again, how many homosexuals have been beaten or even killed by those who "believe" they're "wrong" just for being who they are? And how many of those same hateful people base this hatred on beliefs they've derived from the Bible?

I'm sorry but there is a correlation. If anyone is "intolerant" here it's not homosexuals.

The same can be said for you.

What happened to separation of church and state? I'm a Christian that believes that as one we are to love our fellow man/woman. Not hate, beat or deny them equal rights.

Just because a heterosexual Christian doesn't agree with the homosexual life style and agenda doesn't mean it is automatically hateful motivated disagreement. I am a heterosexual Christian who does not embrace homosexuality-my right to believe this is equal to any right of the gay community. But the gay community wants to demonize everything about my core social, political, and religious beliefs by attacking me and others of the same beliefs with name calling and vicious verbal attacks.

So, gay folks and supporters of gay folks, if you squeeze the frog to hard, it will piss on you. Don't want to be pissed on? Quit pushing your agenda so hard.

If it's not a right then it must be a privilege and privileges have to be earned and they can be take away. I guess liking the opposite gender is privileged. Just goes to show the inequality in this country. So if a man marries and divorces several women he should have his right to marry taken away by a judge because he's abused that privilege and abused the sanctity of marriage? He is therefore unfit for marriage and should have that privilege take away so he can never marry again. Is that constitutional? If marriage isn't protected in the constitution and is not a constitutional right then the scenario I presented should be constitutional to deny a man the right to marry a woman. Why not ban divorce?
I love your logic.

Unfortunately our Republic turned into a Democracy a long time ago. In fact now we are more of a police state then anything else. At least in my opinion.

If you come to play, you should at least bring a ball....
"Because no one knows why some people are born with an inclination toward heterosexuality and some people are born with an inclination toward homosexuality, the most Christian thing we can do is exercise grace toward those with whom we disagree on this issue.

Instead of judging and condemning their gay brothers and lesbians sisters and transgender family members, Christians should be walking in the Spirit, Galatians 5:16, loving each other and being about our Father's business, witnessing the good news of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone."

A security guard at the Family Research Council's headquarters in Washington, D.C. is being hailed as a hero after he stopped a gunman posing as an intern, taking a bullet in the arm before wrestling the suspect to the ground.
The gunman entered the lobby of the organization's Chinatown headquarters around 10:45 and expressed disagreement with the conservative group's policy positions, Fox News has learned. When the guard, who was not identified, asked him where he was going, he opened fire, according to police.
“The security guard here is a hero, as far as I’m concerned,” D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said.”He did his job. The person never made it past the front.”
The guard, who was not identified, was shot in the arm and was conscious after the shooting and was in stable condition. The gunman, who also was not identified, was being questioned by the FBI, sources said. Sources said he is in his twenties...
Sources told Fox New that after guard took away his gun, the suspect said, "Don't shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for."
Authorities were treating the attack as a case of domestic terrorism, although James McJunkin, the head of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, said authorities do not yet know the gunman's motive...

(Cough ... Cough) so lets see here. The only thing that may show this incident to have anything to do with Homosexual marriage is the "posibility" that he may have had a chick fil A bag. So now anyone that carries a chick fil A bag is a homosexual.
Good thinking there Brian.

Jesus threw the money changers out for running a business in the name of the God. When you drive past a sign for a car repair shop or a plumber and see fishes and crucifixes, they are using religion to advertise and draw in customers. We don't even allow that in the flag code:
"The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever."
But of course, there are "patriots" who ignorantly line their Japanese car lots with Made in China stars and stripes. Why be surprised at "Christians" who similarly ignore scripture and disrespect the cross?

Just as you I'm a heterosexual Christian as well. I also don't embrace homosexuality but I also don't hold any prejudice against them. As a Christian you should know that you're sins are as bad as theirs are. You are told not to judge and Constitutionally we have separation of church and state. So in fact they are being denied their Constitutional rights.
