Rahm Emanuel is disgusting. He won't allow Chick to open a location in Chicago. Another one who thinks he's God!

Nonsense? A corporation which has donated millions of dollars to numerous anti-gay causes, including groups which clearly despise gay people? But what should we expect from a newspaper like the Washington Times?

If Chik-fil-A wants to operate according to what they want to call "biblical principles", more power to them. If they want a corporate culture which demonizes the rights of Lesbian and Gay Americans, that is their right as well. But if they want us to sit down and shut up about their actively funding hate groups, they have another thing coming.

I agree.

The CEO of Chick Fil A is allowed to hold whatever opinion he wants, but he is the public face of the company. If he starts making hate-filled comments to the media, he should expect a backlash.

I think he may have done this intentionally, since most of his restaurants are in the South, the one place in the USA where open hatred of gays is still perfectly acceptable. He made the comments and caught Hell from liberals on the coasts and in the north where they have few restaurants. He knew he could use this to whip up anti gay fervor in the south and portray Chick Fil A as the "victim" - thereby directing more business his way.

I don't know whether Cathy is just a hate-filled jerk, or a clever manipulator. Either way, he's not a good person, and I won't be supporting his restaurant anymore.

I'll just go to KFC instead.

What people really don't seem to get is that it's not their holier than thou attitude that have some people seriously annoyed with them, it's the millions of dollars a year in "charitable donations" to groups which seek to actively deny same sex couples the right to marry and groups whose sole reason for existence is to remind everybody just how much they should hate the gay folk. Built into the cost of every sandwich they sell is what you pay them to fund discrimination and hate. If you're cool with that, you have my deepest sympathies on the death of your conscience, but you're the one who killed it, not us.

I don't agree with your post at all. No one's teaching "hate" many of use don't believe in same sex marriage. It's our choice.

Hick, you paranoid, bigoted dope. Supporting Christian causes isn't hate. Supporting mainstream Christian beliefs is only objectionable to ignorant, prejudiced, hate filled dopes like you.

If that's the lie you want to tell yourself to help you live with your unfortunate and ugly choices, knock yourself out. But please don't get too upset when we don't buy into your lies with you. We know better.

Are you wanting a medal or a chest to pin it on sweetie? I'm sure the powers that be at Target are losing sleep over losing the money you never spent there in the first place.

And yet you still don't strike me as ever being a regular or even occasional Target shopper. But that's nothing to be ashamed of. Look on the bright side, if you've made ANY purchase at Target in the last three years, you HAVE spent more money with them than I have.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Gemini

Today's Full Moon, a Lunar Eclipse, will have a big impact on your relationships during the next few months, so stand by. If the cracks have been starting to show in a partnership, this could be when they turn into major fault lines that demand action. Can they be repaired or do they spell the end of the line? It may feel like a crisis but that doesn't mean it really is one, so don't over-react.
