A "5-2" vote? You mean they let the guy vote on whether his seat was vacant because of the crimes he was convicted of? Amazing.

I think it would be more accurately stated that Sarto has been at odds with Paul Humpher and Judy Sigwalt after they indicated that they wanted to propose an ordinance against Illegal Immigration exactly like the one that was found to be unconstitutional in Hazelton PA. Sarto's contention has been that this issue belongs at the Federal level as the ruling in Hazelton has been determined.

Hazelton's case has cost the city millions of dollars in fees and fines and continues to increase the costs as the case is appealed.

In Carpentersville, it has been found that Humpher and Sigwalt have been meeting secretly with a group of Anti-Immigration activists that do not even live in the community. Members of the group come to each Board Meeting with a predetermined list of attacks against Sarto and have been influential in keeping Humpher, their strong ally, on the Village Board.

The group headed up by Sigwalt and Humpher have created a new ordinance to protect Humpher by limiting Sarto's powers to question his residency, having lived in Hammond Indiana for more than 10 months, and the nature of the conviction, determined to be a possible infamous crime by the Village Attorney, both of which would disqualify Humpher from holding his Trustee position and that of Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee.

Does it show Mr. Humpfer attacking his wife with a baseball bat? Does it show the judge finding him guilty?

Thanks for the link to the videos. It gives me hope that someone has sense enough to be made when members of the Government cover up serious crimes.

Most people deplore abusing women and children. Those Board members embrace it and say "Way to to go!"

Help us - our village has been hijacked by this Fox Valley Citizens thing and now we can't even get domestic abusers off our own board!

Even if that were true, does it make it right that a convicted domestic abuser sits in office? Does it excuse his crime?

I think we would like to hold our politicians to a higher standard , I know the invasion of aliens is a big topic right and you need every minute of your day to remind us , but this is about right and wrong he hit a women ! that is the real topix.
