Public housing allows illegal aliens to live in their units so long as at least one American citizen resides there as well. That citizen is the newborn anchor, literally.

Correct, the Supreme Court ruled on birthright citizenship in early 1900 and it still stands but is ignored.
If the birth mother is LEGALLY residing in the United States then the child born in the United States is a citizen of the United States. Key word is legal resident, an illegal alien is not a legal resident by any means so their children born in United States are not supposed to be citizens. All the politician I have asked or written about this simply have no answer at all and none are familiar with the case, despite it having been one of the landmar cases of the court back in the day because there was huge anti Chinese sentiment in America at the time.
