See why they call it "dope".
First of all, only actual "dopes" refer to it as dope.
Second, if you're going to use one study to make a generalization of cannabis' benefits for medicinal purposes over the other studies and real-life stories of those that it has actually helped, then it's pretty obvious that you've been eating the fed's BS with a power shovel.
Third, it's already been proven to help with glaucoma and to help negate the effects of chemo in cancer patients.
All this story does is say that this particular study does not offer proof that it helps with "anxiety, migraines, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder" (even though there are folks out there who would disagree as it worked for them) it does not debunk the other benefits. Nice try though.

Among numerous other benefits. As a pain killer, it has allowed people to get their lives back without the side effects of narcotics so they can totally function in their everyday lives.

I never denied that. However, that is not the topic at hand. The truth of the matter is that cannabis can help the sick but lemmings such as yourself will deny the truth and feed on whatever the feds (and their lobbyist masters) tell you. As far as the "stoner" comment, that's like calling everyone who enjoys alcohol an alcoholic. Why don't you just admit that you know nothing about what you speak, and stop.

Weed also helps level out epileptics who just had a seizure. You'd have to see it with your own eyes to believe it. They go from disoriented to disoriented in a flash.

Weed helps the over-population problem, too, along with tobacco, alcohol, etc.

Also, I recommend cyanide for a "quick high."

Do you want vendors selling marijuana cigarettes along with tamales to your high school children on their way to school, if marijuana is "legalized?"

Because alcohol is legal and regulated it is very hard to get. Marijuana is not regulated. I can get it at school from lots of my classmates. Their aint nobody checking ID's to buy pot. Everybody smokes it except for old geezers. Sucks for you because when my generation is able vote we will legalize it. The only people who want it to remain outlawed forever is old farts and they are dieing off quickly.

If the prohibition is lifted, that would not mean that stores can sell to kids. Right now the illegal dealers do not card so the kids can get it easier than they can alcohol. You sound liek every other prohibitionist lemming. "We've got to protect the children!!!" "What about the children???" News flash: this isn't about protecting children, it's about those who profit from the status quo protecting their profits.

It's not just the "old farts" but anyone who profits from teh current prohibition. Lobbyists from the pharma, alcohol, timber, pulp paper, big oil (plastics), textiles and private prisons all have a lot to lose should cannabis and industrial hemp become legal. These folks keep political coffers filling up and, in turn, get the pols to leave out common sense when ruling on laws such as these.

Just as tobacco & alcohol are not allowed in or near schools so will marijuana. Where do you get this fear mongering bullshit from?

You seem to imply that marijuana will lead to a longer lifespan and any talk to the contrary is mere "fear mongering bullshit."

But, a 2002 report by the British Lung Foundation estimated that three to four cannabis cigarettes a day were associated with the same amount of damage to the lungs as 20 or more tobacco cigarettes a day.

Or do you really want to increase the death rate from lung cancer to solve the overpopulation problem in Amerika?

I don't care what people put into their body. If they like weed, alcohol or other weird drugs then let them be but the moment their use of drugs infringes on my rights is where the problem begins and for the most part, these people don't get in my way.

They wanna kill themselves then let them.

Why worry about people who want to inject chemicals into their body that are dangerous for them if they're not going to listen to you regardless of these drugs being illegal or not?

Rico is all in favor of injecting strange substances into the lungs of Amerikans!

And, I assume that Rico opposes the "healthy initiative" promoted by Michelle Antoinette, because it might prolong the lives of Rico's despised Amerikans.
