The data showed a direct correlation between night-time temperatures increases of 0.72 degrees C (1.3 degrees F) and the placement of the farms." http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/04/30/win... |

Judged: 3 3 3 This is the denier problem--they think if they can find it on the internet it must be true--this is an ice age freak site with no data just requoting other deniers--an echo chamber. Do you get it that googling is not research? But deniers are not interested in research only in answering each item tit for tat and then slapping themselves on the back like the goons they really are. Really their intention is to prevent this from becoming a serious issue as long as they can because it would sink the Republicans. Saw an interview with a Republican weatherman from Wisconsen and he admitted he was frustrated at trying to explain things to his fellow conservatives. |

Judged: 2 2 2 Republicans?? Mike - who said anything about Democrats or Republicans - until YOU took the convo there? Demonstrating once again - it isn't really about the "science" for you AGW fans, is it? It's all about partisan politics for you. |

Judged: 2 2 2 The problem is about ego, thiers. After all, your self confidence and refusing to take them at thier word hurts thier ego. I know for me one of the latest is calling me a liar. After all, if I am telling the truth then they would have to admit that they were wrong and those poor egos cannot take that type of stress. |

Judged: 2 2 2 Republican weatherman? Wow, I didin't know anything like that existed. It's really weird that weathermen have political partisanship in their forecasts. Hey, I got news for ya. This isn't about GOP/Dem argument. It's about scientitsts with political agendas and the need to keep their gravy train rolling. |
|
Judged: 2 2 2 Unfortunately there is a divide between Democrats and Republicans on global warming. http://pewresearch.org/assets/publications/17... The Democrats are more likely to give credence to the scientists on topics of global warming. Where do the Republicans get their information. From Heartland? http://i2.crtcdn1.net/images/ed/2012/05/05/17... Pretty pitiful when they need to resort to emotional images instead of scientific findings. |

|
Judged: 1 1 1 I have to totally agree with you on this one. It is truly sad that Heartland lowered themselves to the tactics of the AGW alarmists using emotion instead of science: Kids blowing up: http://www.youtube.com/watch... Polar bears falling from the sky to their deaths: http://www.youtube.com/watch... |
|
|
Judged: 2 2 2 Hardly the same level. Heartland is a powerful organization that is respected by conservatives and shapes their values. It is apparent that they are losing their grip on global warming policy. Their attempt to distort public opinion on global warming by such a tactic is inadequate and shameful. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Yeah, those emotions like the ads with polar bears drifting on pack ice in the spring time and saying they're becoming endangered, etc. Or seeing a bear that drownded and blaming that on AGW. How about the glaciers calving in the spring in dramatic fashion and blaming it on AGW. Yep, it's all about the GOP being emotional. None of the democrats rely on emotions to try to get people to believe them. Nah, that could never happen, right? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Oh please,....the video of kids blowing up was put out by 10:10 a worldwide organization that have many world government leaders involved, hardly just some little group. Emotional ads are constantly being put out by governments who as you are well aware are powerful organizations who constantly use propaganda to shape our values and change our behavior. Governments are the ones who have the power to do that, not some little organization that brings in about 7 million dollars. Here are just a couple of "emotional" not scientific videos put out by governments: UK Department of Energy and Climate Change:(They have pulled the video, but you can read the article). http://content.usatoday.com/communities/green... UN emotional video http://www.youtube.com/watch... And don't forget Al Gore using emotion: From NY Times: "We should have no illusions about the difficulty and the time needed to convince the rest of the world to adopt a completely new approach. The lags in the global climate system, including the buildup of heat in the oceans from which it is slowly reintroduced into the atmosphere, means that we can create conditions that make large and destructive consequences inevitable long before their awful manifestations become apparent: the displacement of hundreds of millions of climate refugees, civil unrest, chaos and the collapse of governance in many developing countries, large-scale crop failures and the spread of deadly diseases." "From the standpoint of governance, what is at stake is our ability to use the rule of law as an instrument of human redemption." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/28/opinion/28g... Notice how Al uses our emotions? Everything that can go wrong will go wrong and the only way to save ourselves is by using the rule of law to redeem us from our sins. He even wrote a poem: One thin September soon A floating continent disappears In midnight sun Vapors rise as Fever settles on an acid sea Neptune's bones dissolve Snow glides from the mountain Ice fathers floods for a season A hard rain comes quickly Then dirt is parched Kindling is placed in the forest For the lightning's celebration Unknown creatures Take their leave, unmourned Horsemen ready their stirrups Passion seeks heroes and friends The bell of the city On the hill is rung The shepherd cries The hour of choosing has arrived Here are your tools |

Judged: 2 1 1 Ok...that was truly disturbing, giving animals human emotion and then having them commit suicide. Truly sick. We could go on and on and on with the emotional propaganda that is put out daily by the AGW alarmists. But Bozo will never get it and will always make excuses. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Do you think that Bozo is representative of old American males? I ask the question because Nauseous tells us that most old, white males are conservative. - - - I still haven't got my head round the use of politics as a weapon in the US. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Bozo wears out the 'hypocrisy' label. |

Judged: 1 1 1 You mean it is equate and shameful that they are using the same tactics that many alarmist have used. That they are using the same tactics that your friends have used. Then again some of what was attributed to Heartland turned out to be fabricated. Which still remains a liberal tactic. |

Judged: 2 2 2 I wonder who thought up that sick video. Of course that could never happen if what alarmist claim is true. How could a polar bear jump on to the jagged ice when according to alarmist the ice will all be gone. |
|
Judged: 2 2 2 While I do not support any of the sleazy U-tubes, my point is that the Heartland Institute, which is considered to be a highly respectable conservative organization by a large number of followers, stooped to this level. Terribly bad taste. There are any number of fringe organizations throughout the world, both liberal and conservative. Now we must add the Heartland Institute to the group. Sorry Heartland, you stumbled backwards and fell in it and lost a great deal of credibility. |
