While we are often on opposite sides of the gay issues, we can and do agree on occasion and this is one where I agree wholeheartedly. Have a good one! Thank you. You too.

flbadcatowner wrote: <quoted text>My understanding of the Aramaic word "raca" is that it was more akin to calling somebody a button brain or numbskull as the word indicated an empty head. Thank you for correcting me on that. My point was that Jesus was saying that it's not nice or moral to be putting down someone like that. Perhaps he was actually referring to the mentally retarded. And a bit off topic but I recently discussed on the thread the "Maryland Gay Marriage Could Hinge on Black Churches" the issues of mental retardation and blindness in this country and how it relates to the history of marriage laws here. Blacks weren't the only group that faced discrimination in marriage laws in this country.

I hope a lot of people see this so they know just how gullible and foolish you are. You'd do better posting on Sarah's facebook page.(I've seen you use that as a valid source a few times BTW) I missed that, she was quoting The ONION? I watched "Saturday Night Live Thursday" last night. Is that real news too? Was that really Mitt Romney in the cab sketch?

luv Sarah Palin wrote: <quoted text> It is unnatural but this new dem party wants to impose the gay agenda on us all and let the gays recruit in schools . Anyone who dare utter a word is branded as a "homophobe" and soon enough subjected to being silenced. "Homosexual-Recruitment Drive Nearing Goal" It's crucial that we reach these kids while they're still young," Emmonds said. "That's when they're most vulnerable to our message of sexual promiscuity and deviance." "When I grow up, I want to be gay," said Christopher Linn, 8, a second-grader at Philadelphia's Lakeside Elementary School, one of thousands of public schools nationwide that actively promote the homosexual agenda. "I don't want to have a family or go to church." For all the progress we've made, America is still overwhelmingly heterosexual," said Emmonds, who is calling for an additional $2.6 billion in federal aid to further the gay agenda" http://www.theonion.com/articles/98-homosexua... DNF brought this to my attention, for I am so dazed by your cruelty, I cannot sit through most of your posts. "The Onion" is a full on satiric tongue in cheek parody of real news. It is on line and prints physical papers for free distribution in major cities. Are you so humor lacking and so immune to satire or parody that you did not catch the irony of the article? The Onion has been around for years. Didn't the name alone clue you? Or do you actually BELIEVE parodies, as long as they back your fantastic paranoid beliefs?

BTW, Fox News has gotten into hot water for quoting The Onion on a couple of occasions also. They also fell for the parodies and satires and quoted them ON AIR. I wonder if they apologized, or withdrew their errors?

He/she/it used to try to be witty or actually sort of meaningful, but now he/she/it is just here to taunt and scream insults. Poor poor thing. One step away from climbing a tower with a high powered rifle and thousands of bullets. I guess if he/she/it vents here, it is OK. Oh, they're not rational; agreed *handshake*. They want nothing but to incite, inflame, and hate nonstop. I see that. There is no rationality or sensibility to what they say. They don't consider any point in support of the pro-gay for a moment; they define a point's value by *WHETHER IT IS ANTIGAY* and support all such points to the exclusion of all others. Thank you for your post, by the way.

Thank you for your post, by the way. 'Yer' SO welcome. I just got back into town after spending the day in Los Angeles, Hollywood, to see "The Sound of Music" singalong at the Hollywood Bowl. Oh, lord, it was the most fun I have had in 3 years since I went last time, this time MORE fun. Our section had about half gay guys, not planned, just how it turned out. They all knew the film backwards and forwards and chatted along, or yelled out witty retorts. In any other movie theater setting that would be annoying, but last night, well, I would HIRE them to sit near me for future 'Sound of Music' singalongs. I am in FAR too good a mood now to be upset by any of these sad haters who snort through Topix for a chance to yell at other people. Do NOT forget the Emmys tonight. Coach Bhiest from "Glee" is up for an Emmy and SHE was on stage last night!

But I looked up the winners. It's fun, the awards season (that's what we're in now, right?... the very early beginnings?), but I rarely watch the ceremonies. I hope YOU had fun doing so.

It's just that I am home a lot and not into Soap operas.( I work at home as a semi pro artist) In fact I have an art show coming up in Long Beach in October. I won't say what my website is for I do NOT want the haters to start peppering me at home with their hate mail. Like today, I will not be on here much, for the voice activated function in my car stopped and I am taking it in to be re-fired today and it may take a while. I miss the peppy little voice that is so responsive and makes phone calls, or puts up the air conditioner, or whatever, so politely if I ask "her".

If so, I would be interested in seeing it and good luck with your art career.

But back on topic. Thanks to snyper's post I learned a lot of really good info about this group. And I believe they are within their rights in doing what they did.
The ousted Professor needs to understand he's working for a religious organization. And I believe those groups are free to insist their staff support their standards.

Why is it that you have to get all this respect but won't respect anyone else. Like religion for example. Of you want respect you need to give it in.return. I have nothing against gays however I see so many of them over doing the whole anti+gay thing and going around accusing people of being gay or trying to recruit people to.make their lifestyles seem better when in.reality its unnatural. Keep preaching the Truth! Homosexuals scatter from the Truth as cockroaches do from the light.

Wouldn't it be great if homosexuals wouldn't call parents "bigots" when we have to call the cops about all the queers hanging around our kids down at the bus stop?
