SEIU President Andy Stern in Washington speaks for all of Big Labor when he
describes his organizing philosophy: "We prefer to use the power of
persuasion, but if that doesn't work, we use the persuasion of power."
President Obama, who has made national service an administration priority,
has been and will continue to be silent about the Big Labor bullies who make
public enemies of Scouts with trash bags and hoes.

You see, kids, Obama owes Stern (his most frequent White House visitor) and
his union brethren. SEIU alone poured more than $60 million in compulsory
membership dues into Obama's campaign and leaned on its workers to
"volunteer" to knock on doors, place phone calls and send out mailers for
the Democratic Party. No good deed goes unpunished by union bosses -- unless
it benefits their political empire.

FBI investigates prominent labor leader Andy Stern

WASHINGTON - The FBI and the U.S. Labor Department are investigating
prominent labor leader Andy Stern in their probe of corruption at the
Service Employees International Union, according to two people who have been
interviewed by federal agents.

The two organized labor officials met with federal agents this summer to
answer questions about a six-figure book contract that Stern landed in 2006
and his role in approving money to pay the salary of an SEIU leader in
California who allegedly performed no work.

Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive
nature of the investigation. The FBI and the Labor Department's office of
inspector general declined to comment for the record.

The disclosure about the federal inquiry of Stern - who abruptly resigned as
president of the 2.2-million member SEIU in April - comes just weeks ahead
of contentious congressional elections in which the union is spending an
estimated $44 million to support its favored Democratic candidates.

Stern left his post two years before the end of his term, saying he wanted
to focus more on his personal life. He remains a member of President Barack
Obama's deficit commission and a highly influential figure in the White
House, where he was one of the most frequent visitors last year. He is also
a research fellow at Georgetown University and a paid consultant for the
SEIU.

I doubt that many of their members know what her salary is annually? Some of us are aware of the lawsuits filed against this purported union for abuse. I'm disgusted that the SEIU is is our schools as janitors, many of whom I'm guessing are illegals.

These are Laws on the books already, so why is a union where the majority of illegal aliens not under investigation? It used to be when unions had some credibility that the workers were American Citizens and NOT made up of a large percentages of illegal aliens...The employers that hire these illegals are also a big part of the problem including SIEU that condones the corruption.. This is indeed part of the problem with groups like ACORN and SEIU since they support the socialist agenda of the NWO..
