It's plausible Jesus never existed.

It also has nothing to do with a freedom such as the ability for gays to marry in a nation which has clear separation of church and state.

I have no problem with you bringing in polygamy to this discussion but you also have to bring points of relevance.

Number one polygamy is completely different that gay and heterosexual marriages in that it involves itself with parties of 3 or more. Number two it's very rare. Number three the government determined polygamy harmful whilst no harm was affixed to gay or straight marriage. Number four is that it appears your inclusion of polygamy into this discussion is a weak attempt at derailment given you just may have no valid points against gays getting married. Number five polygamy is really not the matter at hand so we're back to the original point....what relevance does it hold to this specific matter of making gay marriages legal nationwide?
