Eventually every country on earth will legalize same sex marriage. It is inevitable. It's coming. It's the unshakable tide that will sweep all of the countries of the world, even in places like Iran or Saudi Arabia will one day issue same sex marriage licenses.

I disagree. That's like when people said after World War I that all countries would some day embrace democracy. Ain't gonna happen. History just doesn't work that way.

It'll never happen in places where people are getting dumber.
It's a fact that countries with marriage equality have an average higher IQ.
I bet you can guess which countries will be last in line.
(hint) countries where religion rules government.

Oh Canada one, YOUR country IS a theocracy ! YOUR Head Of State IS Queen Elzabeth II, and Her Majesty IS "Supreme Governor of the Church of England" and carries the title "Defender of the Faith" as part of her full title.

Canada does NOT have "separation of church and state" and your country IS technically a MONARCHY.

The United States oF America IS, and ALWAYS has been, A REPUBLIC ! And we have, and have ALWAYS HAD separation of church and state.

Hint: The increasing acceptance of homosexuality is an indication of the "dumbing down" of a society which is in moral freefall.

So what ? That's when Jesus comes and takes all believers to Heaven. Shouldn't we look forward to that ?

It IS tecnically true !(i.e. LEGALLY TRUE).

Is Queen Elizabeth II your Head Of State or not ? Is the British flag not on your Coat Of Arms ?

You do NOT have separation or church and state in Canada, legally, nor constitutionally, BECAUSE your Head Of State is LEGALLY also the leader of The Church Of England.

Religin and civil government in Canada are inextricably intertwined and bound to one another since you have not, and apparently will not, cast of the British Monarch as your Head Of State, which WE DID MORE THAN 235 YEARS AGO.

So your country IS LEGALLY "ruled by religion". Cast off your monarch, and that will not be so.

(and btw, personally, I LIKE Queen Elizabeth II and hope she reigns at least 65 years.:))

no one alive today will see that happen. if your gay you may not want it to happen.[n countries where gay marriage is legalized there is a spike at first but it drops off very fast. also if you are born gay, which the jury is still out. then as time go on there will be less and less till there is no more.

Then why is living here so much better than the USA?
Universal healthcare?
Multiple political parties?
Diverse population?
Real-world drug laws?
Well-maintained infrastructure?
World-class public education?
Lower infant death rate?
Better quality of life?
Less suicide?
Less gun deaths?
Just wonderin'
