I am sick of having to sit here and take a beating by the liberal media and people like her. It's time to fight back! I'm sick of not being able to fight back. Either we need to restore the worlds faith or Jesus needs to make his second coming because everyday it gets worse. And FYI to start the fight how about instead of shoving liberal media in the school kids mouth everyday at school and balance the political beliefs in schools. Both only that but teach creationism as well I'm tired of watching this crap I love Jesus, god, and the United States of America. The once proud Christian nation that has lost its faith in god.

um.. what about the liberal 'hippy' christians who are very active in churches, sing in choirs, direct choirs, teach sunday school, and are even pastors?

this is the part that i don't get. there are liberals everywhere involved in churches... not only conservatives are religious, you know. in fact, jesus was a liberal.

first of all, you need to relax. i'm an ordained pastor in a christian church and i don't see where society is getting any worse than it ever has been. in fact, i see it getting better and better. people are beginning to ask questions the way jesus taught us to do. they are beginning to question rhetoric from the churches, they are beginning to question dogma and take it for what it is. they are even beginning to question church doctrines as well as government policies. this is good... it shows that, finally, people are beginning to think for themselves and not to accept things simply because someone told them that it was so.

jesus taught us to question when he said that we must become as a child. he didn't mean that we should be or act childishly. what he meant was that we should take the leap of faith of forgetting absolutely everything that we have ever been taught, and unlearn everything that we have ever thought that we know and allow the spirit of the creator to teach us.

as far as the second coming of jesus goes, according to what he told his apostles, it's already been and gone. he promised that he'd come back during their own natural lifetimes.

next... get off the liberal kick. jesus was a liberal, too. it is the liberals who make a difference in our world, and they are in the process of making it better and better every day.

I can give you a few clues based in *human nature*, nothing more and nothing less, about how to get through to people.

First, DO NOT attack. They will turn against you and will stake *their very lives* upon fighting you until the hour of their death.

Second, SEE THINGS from their point of view. Yours will still be waiting for you when you are done.

And that's for a start.

The gigantic problem is ANTIGAY SENTIMENT among the "religious." Obviously it's not making the pro-gay back down, and obviously it is creating a rancor, viciousness and hatred *so unreal* that it's now leading to DEATH THREATS from public antigay figures against all gay people. That is a serious problem.

Gay people are not going to go away and they are not going to change *who they are and how they were born* for anyone, period. This is quite simple logic.

Peace will begin to come when people begin to realize that they can do *nothing* about this and will get nowhere with browbeating, criticism, and hatred.

I find myself thinking about this recently. Indeed, every time an antigay person says "GAYS ARE ONE PERCENT OF THE POPULATION" they vastly support the idea that 99% of the train wrecks are heterosexuals. They lose either way.
