What ^ss clowns we have in this country who think they are leaders: obama pelosi reid bloomberg emanuel rangle clinton Yeah, go and pick on a sucessful fast-food chain that actually took risk without "Solyndra" money and made profits. They employ thousands who pay into to the tax base and actually sell something that people want. The media and the other ^ss wipes should be using their energy and resources to find an unaltered bith certificate, look into the SS #s for the fraud in chief, give heat for covering up "The Fast And Furious," find out just where the stimulus money went and have some gumption to stand up for the separation of powers in this country's government to provide the check and balances as outlined in the Constitution. Maybe along the way, the media might even find a budget that was put forth by this rag-tag poor excuse for an administration.

REWBA wrote: If you eat chicken and you didn't grow it yourself then you are supporting people who employ illegal aliens. The poultry industry is a major employer of illegal labor. So, if you eat a Chick-Fil-A or a Kentucky Fried Chicken or a Chicken Selects at McDonalds, you are paying for illegal labor. I'm serious! If you do not believe me, tour the employee parking lot at any meat processing plant anywhere in the US during a shift change. Why I Literally Cannot Stomach Buying CAFO Anymore Basically, it’s an animal factory. The term “factory farm” is often used, but I honestly think that’s giving them too much credit. CAFOs are about as far removed from a “farm” as it gets. The animals live in extremely cramped steel contraptions knee-deep in their own urine-soaked manure, and sometimes never even see the light of day. There are no farmers, only minimally paid workers (often illegal immigrants persuaded across the border by the factory companies) exposed to conditions so dangerous they have staggering rates of illness among them — 58 percent of all swine confinement workers manifest chronic bronchitis, according to the American Lung Association, and nearly 70 percent experience some form of respiratory irritation.

I used to hang out at a bar after work until the owner started ranting talibagger talking points and hating on everything Obama. It gets tiresome listening to out right lies and so I quit going there. The other day I noticed that I wasn't the only one who stopped going there. The bar was closed and there was a for sale sign on the door. It's all Obama's fault. Had Obama never become the president then that bar owner wouldn't have had to run everyone off with his incoherent rants.

Does anyone tell you who to support? Its none of your business who they support, if you dont like it dont eat there, simple enough! Rick in Kansas wrote: What people really don't seem to get is that it's not their holier than thou attitude that have some people seriously annoyed with them, it's the millions of dollars a year in "charitable donations" to groups which seek to actively deny same sex couples the right to marry and groups whose sole reason for existence is to remind everybody just how much they should hate the gay folk. Built into the cost of every sandwich they sell is what you pay them to fund discrimination and hate. If you're cool with that, you have my deepest sympathies on the death of your conscience, but you're the one who killed it, not us.

This blew me away today... Profits in gay owned chicken farms declined severely after it was announced that their primary customers would boycott one of their most lucrative markets. Chief spokesman rallied for more chicken consumption disregarding their plea for solidarity through the boycott at Chick Fil a. Damned if ya do and damned if ya don't i suppose.

As long as sir Chic-A-lot welcomes and embraces the married gay couples who may frequent his grease pit, then he has a right to do business there. Let the public deny him a successful location for his business, not the government or it's officers.

Vaccines on Chicken Farms Create Supervirus http://www.motherjones.com/tom-philpott/2012/... The problem of routine antibiotic use on factory farms has generated a lot of ink lately—especially after this startling recent report on a possible link between industrial chicken farming and a spate of antibiotic-resistant urinary-tract infections among women. But what about vaccine use? Concentrated animal feedlot operation (CAFO) operators use antibiotics to help prevent bacterial infections from raging through spaces densely packed with animals (as well as to make the animals grow faster). To address the problem of viral infections, against which antibiotics are ineffective, they turn to vaccines, which get considerably less press.

Reese Adams wrote: Does anyone tell you who to support? Um, yes. We are all constantly being bombarded with information which tells us who and who not support and why or why not to support them. It's remarkable how a free society works. Whether one listens to that information and acts or does not act upon it is entirely up to them. Reese Adams wrote: Its none of your business who they support, Public disclosure laws would disagree with you on that. Corporate "charitable" donations and funds spent by "charities" are both matters of public record. Why shouldn't we see where the money goes before we agree to spend it with some company. I imagine there are companies which will spend your money by giving it to groups which want nothing more than to punish you for whatever reason, if you'd rather not know that your lunch is paying to make your life as miserable as possible under the law, I feel sorry for you. Reese Adams wrote: if you dont like it dont eat there, simple enough! I have never had the dubious privilege of dining with them. There isn't one locally that I know of and the closest one I do was located someplace where it was guaranteed never to earn my patronage, the most poorly planned food court in any mall in America. My saying that I'm going to stop eating there is rather pointless considering that I never started. My economic contribution, other than paying a little extra on my taxes because their "charity" pays none, to Chik-fil-a has been nothing and wasn't likely to have increased, even if they weren't money laundering charitable donations into political discrimination. I do however have the right to let anyone and everyone I choose to tell how I feel about their choice to exercise their rights in the manner that they have. It's not what they preach which bothers me, it's the practice. They have been donating large sums of money to groups which exist for no other reason than to make the lives of people who they "disapprove" of as miserable as possible under the law and if the law won't do it, write a new one. Unconscionable.

Chick-fil-A gets a lesson on corporate outspokenness http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-hiltzik... Despite what Cathy's supporters might claim, public boycotts aren't infringements on his free speech. With a handful of modern exceptions — the grape boycott against anti-union California growers in the 1960s and the disinvestment campaign against South African apartheid in the 1980s — boycotts today are informational tools. No one publicizing Cathy's views has the power or authority to keep anyone out of his stores, but they do have the ability to help patrons walking up to his counters to know where their money is going.

He merely stated that he, essentially, supports heterosexual marriage, nothing more. The gay community NEEDS to stop fashioning these 'Straw Man' fallacies as they are only serving to demonstrate hatred and expressed oppression fro anyone who has any form of an opinion/point of view other than one they've (the homosexual community) manufactured. Now, I'm going to do it: The Fruitcake Lady. Oh, for pity's sake! Who do you think YOU are to tell the gay and lesbian community what they NEED to do. I think they know better than anybody else in the world what they feel they NEED to do. It's pretty clear to me that they're more than willing to stand up for themselves, and the good news is, there are millions of us who are heterosexuals who wholeheartedly support their right to do so. I am not in the least threatened by anybody else's sexuality as you seem to be. What difference does or should it make to me or you? Period.
