Ill. House Approves Legalizing Same-Sex Civil Unions

Honestly, this shouldn't even be an issue in this day & age. Marriage is just a word. What's the big deal? Religion? Dictionary definition? One shouldn't live their life so blindly by a book & definititions are always being reviewed & redone. So give gays the right to MARRY each other. Honestly. Some people need to grow up.
Until an actual reason arises that is significant enough to prove gay marriage being wrong, I see no issue. Religion shouldn't be shoved down people's throats. Neither should the AIDS excuse or the fact homosexuals can't reproduce. Because they can. Look it up.
