Proposed ROTC unit protested @ UMD's Catonsville campus
Faculty and other members of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County community have started circulating an online petition to protest a proposed ROTC unit at the Catonsville campus, which could open this fall. According to faculty senate President Terrance L. Worchesky, the U.S. Army proposed establishing the ROTC unit during an April 25 meeting of campus leaders. more

Unfortunately, if this college is a "land grant college". I believe that means the federal government provided the land for the college, it has a legal obligation to provide this service regardless of university policy. But please have kiss ins to protest such a move, they are really fun.
