We voted not only with our feet, but with our dollars. I'm glad they have donated to pro-marriage fighters in the "gay marriage" war. That is only right when so many corporations like Home Depot and Target have donated to the other side. I think that if a business gives money a cause like that, then customers should be notified somehow prior to purchase. That way we can make informed choices. It irks me to find out years after I started buying a product that the company was giving its money to something that I don't want. Yes, I think that should apply to Chick-Fil-A as well. It remainds unclear to me whether Mr. Cathy donated his own money or company money. There is a difference, I believe.

Their owner is entitled to his views. However I don't need to give my money to a company whose leader gives some of that to organizations dedicated to keeping gay citizens as second class participants in this country.

such a pacified response..... no need to stifle your true hateful feelings (learned from your christian terrorist upbringing). you should proudly wear your hate for your fellow honest, hard-working, tax-paying, glbt, u.s. citizens on your sleeve. wear your conviction like the germans did in the late 30's / early 40's to show their solidarity for the ideas they believed in. since you want to know which side you need to be on, it's important that we know how to identify you / which side your on as well.

if you think we're friends, and i know you don't think that we are, i'm giving you a little present (http://www.strangecosmos.com/images/content/1... ). feel free to share with your disease-spreading sex friends and family (that does not include the sex friend you finally settle down with).

It only remains unclear to you because you lack the skills needed to research it. Perhaps you could get one of your fellow church zombies to teach you how to use Google.

What are you doing here anyway? Isn’t Sunday morning prime church-going time? Why aren’t you off a-prayin’ to Jesus and recharging your hate for the week? Or did the fine dining at Chick-fil-A prove sufficient for that need?

I'm boycotting them, not infringing on their First Amendment rights. Free speech and freedom of religion works both ways. I have those rights too. I support their right to feel that way and speak that way and donate that way. I do not condone it though so in that aspect I do not support them. I only support their constitutional rights, that's all. I'll never do business with a place that has Chick-Fil-A's views, that's MY constitutional RIGHT. I will speak out on how morally wrong I think they are. That is not violating their right to be that way. I wonder when they'll understand that no one is violating their First Amendment rights just because we don't agree with them. We aren't accusing them of violating ours or getting any laws passed to keep them from having their rights.

I'm at a loss to understand why having the LGBT community Boycott CHIC FIL hAte is any different from Christian Fundie Zealots boycotting Disney, Starbucks, JC Penny or other LGBT supportive businesses. JC Penny isn't even necessarily gay supportive they just hired a known lesbian and the Zealots had a cow and called for a boycott. I have never gone to a Christian oriented Blog or site and posted anything at all certainly not anything negative. Why do the zealots feel compelled to attach gay forums? Hypocritical much?

They are a fringe group of fanatics, and even those they claim as their own kind want nothing to do with them! This is where they can post their rhetoric and don't have to witness people walking off, rolling their eyes at them!

There's a lot more going on here than what happened last Wed @ CFAs nationwide.
Probably a million ordinary people showed up to support CFA last Wed., and there was a total national media black out of this huge story. Contrast that with the media hype of the lame 'kiss-in' protests by dozens of homosexuals on Fri. outside a few CFAs.
We all know the lying dinosaur media is totally in the bag for America's first homosexual president and promotes the religion of homosexuality generally, 24/7.
This CFA thing was more a big grass-roots political event than anything else and it doesn't portend well for the electoral prospects of the America-hating Christian-hating Commie-Rat party in November.

If the election were held today, Obama would win. He's ahead in the polls in enough States to win in the Electoral College.

The ONLY people who think Obama is in trouble for supporting equal rights are the delusional fundie types. It's no secret that they have lost their grip on reality. They are the TRUE anti-American haters.

Homosexuals can always be relied on to vote for politicians (Democrats) that are determined to use the power of government to take away everyone's First Amendment rights. Democrat elected officials threatened to use the powers of their offices to harm CFA and anyone else dissenting against the religion of homosexuality.
That's why there was the huge buycott by freedom-loving Americans @ CFA last Wed.

Well the election isn't today and the only poll that matters is coming in November when Obama will be told to get the F back to $hitcago.

No one is trying to take away your First Amendment rights, you big drama queen. In fact we WANY you to speak up. LOUDER, please! It's out best proof that your silly prejudice is based on religious animus, and that, in itself will give us an automatic win when SCOTUS finally hears the DOMA and Prop 8 cases.

Homosexuality ISN'T a religion, dumbass. If it were, since we have FREEDOM OF RELGION in this country, you would have no chance at a case against us. So far, all you've done is delay the inevitable, and made a few shrewd liars (NOM, FRC, NARTH) a whole lot of money. Sucker.

Not much of a political science buff, are ya? No way is Romney going to win enough electoral votes to win the general election.

You are right about hating anti-American traitors. That's why we hate you. You wrap yourself in the flag and hide behind Jesus, and somehow, you think that makes you untouchable. We have freedom of religion in this country, and my religion says same sex marriage is just fine. So there. Your CHOICE of religion doesn't get any preference over any other religion. It doesn't matter who gets elected in the Fall. This will be settled by SCOTUS next year, and there is NOTHING you can do about it.

Even the ACLU sees a First Amendment issue here and warned the Democrat politicians trying to use government to harm/destroy CFA that they will file suit to defend Chik vs. the homofascist government.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
