Doesn't say anything about it being OK to eat pork. Another delusional religitard. I guess you figure that bible based bigotry is good bigotry. 1st Janitor wrote: <quoted text> First of all David, Acts 10:10-15 deals with taking the gospel to the people of the world. The use of the sheet with the many forbidden animals on it was a metaphor for communion with unbelievers who weren't Jewish and nothing more. And,it isn't the Bible most people hate, it's bigots like yourself who use the Bible to rationalize their ignorance. I'm a Christian and I certainly don't have the problems with accepting reality that you have. By the way, while we're on the subject of reality, you need to get a grip and stop making up these splinter personalities for yourself. It really is disturbing to think a person like you is running around loose.

You still didn't address all your evilgelicals ignoring all these sins but the homosexual "sin." You have a mental disorder of homophobia. Your BS has nothing to do with what the buybull says are "unrepentant sinners." There's lots of them. Let's see you try to limit their rights, too.

I was addressing the fact that Peter was dreaming about forbidden foods and the metaphoric idea that it meant he would have to deal with his own strict traditional Jewish taboos when he went out to take the gospel to other people who wouldn't observe them. Paul said he had to become all men, in another observation of the necessity of stepping out side the cultural Jewish guidelines to bring the word to other people. How exactly seeking acceptance of others traditions, diet and culture and whatever ever influences they lived by makes one a bigot is beyond me.

That is from some writing by a follower of Saul himself. Hardly an impartial account.

I was explaining the meaning of the scripture and only Paul's comments were attributed to him. The original scripture, the subject of Peter's dream was taken from Acts, which was written by Luke. And, personally I don't see what, impartial or partial, the scripture of the dream and it's meaning had to do with whether gays are living in sin or not.

Wow, you haven't been paying attention to my posts have you? many gays are homophobic in that they detest what god has done to them and take it out on everyone else. a great example of this is david moore from pukin, il who posts on these threads under at least 10 different names every day. he's filled with a hatred for all things gay which he believes is holy... he's also as queer as a three legged duck, and has told us all about how his wife left him when she found out and stole his three little girls from him. it is possible.

WasteWater wrote: <quoted text> I see. Some things might be rumors then. of all the things which we've heard about david, the notion that he molested his daughters is the only one. all the rest he told us himself over the years... these include, among many other things, his arrest for dressing as a super hero, stuffing a large burrito down the front of his pants and dancing around the restaurant asking if anybody wanted to eat his 'burrito', the accident in billings, montana where he ran a red light, hit another pickup truck, swerved through a gas station, knocking over a pump and causing an explosion, and then circling back through the intersection and finally hitting a power pole. then when the arresting officer questioned him he told him that he hadn't caused the accident, but it was the invisible unicorn who had been driving at the time. david was arrested for dwi, resisting arrest, and causing property damage exceeding $10000 dollars. that doesn't even count the time that he shoved a sky rocket inside a trombone to augment the cannon fire in beethoven's 5th
