The Homosexuals do need to repent, and never look back. Wow! This bishop bases his entire sense of morality on what he has read in some book. How very insightful of him.

So if interested read these studies showing no gay gene http://alum.hampshire.edu/~kebF92/genetics.ht... While research continues to try to determine how much, if any, of sexual orientation is genetically determined, the search for that gene is in full swing.(1993) found that the gene they'd been studying seemingly had no influence whatsoever. Structures, as the visible expression of genes, have also been studied in some detail. LeVay (1991) looked at hypothalamic differences between homosexual and heterosexual men to be followed by Allen &Gorski (1992) who did the same with the human brain's anterior commissure. Thus no gay gene! http://www.conservapedia.com/Homosexuality_an... When asked if homosexuality was rooted solely in biology, gay gene researcher, Dean Hamer, replied, "Absolutely not. From twin studies, we already know that half or more of the variability in sexual orientation is not inherited. Our studies try to pinpoint the genetic factors...not negate the psychosocial factors" (Anastasia, 1995, p. 43).[2] No professional scientist in the last 40 years has even claimed to have found any evidence that queerness is always genetic in all cases. Even the highly publicized identical twin studies by Michael Bailey and Richard Pillard, which were so often touted as evidence for a "gay gene," never found that any more than 52% of the identical twins of queer people were queer. The other 48% of identical twins of queer men were not queer. This leaves at least 48% of the queer community unaccounted for by genetic theories. Sorry still no gay gene. Now Left handedness Left-handedness is the preference for the left hand over the right for everyday activities such as writing. Most left-handed people exhibit some degree of ambidexterity.[1] Left-handedness is relatively uncommon; 90 to 93 percent of the adult population is right-handed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-handedness I know this is going to hard for you to accept but here is the proof, with the references you can look up yourself, Left handedness is a preference not genetic And there is no gay gene. I've played the game , now put up or shut up! You don't even bother to read your own cites. The Wiki article has a section on causes of handedness, which mentions both a specific gene and the manifestation of handedness in the uterus.

Same sex is believed to be idolatry practiced by their Canaanite neighbors, not, sexual orientation. Sodom's solicitation mob rape is nothing to do with sexual orientation or adult loving relationships. The Epistles again believe same sex was an issue of idolatry, prostitution, or slave sex, again not sexual orientation. Your literal interpretation of the Bible is by topic and not what the Bible is saying.

The New Testament refers repeatedly and consistently to homosexuality as a forbidden, detestable practice deserving of punishment by God or mankind - one that leads directly to hell and eternal torture. These passages fully agree those of the Old Testament. A born-again Christian cannot be a non-celibate gay or lesbian. According to 1 Corinthians 6, if they were truly saved, then they would be cured of their homosexuality; they would be converted to heterosexuality. Three key New Testament passages concerning homosexuality are: Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and 1 Timothy 1:10. Of the three, the most significant is Romans 1 because it deals with homosexuality within the larger cultural context. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Another New Testament passage dealing with homosexuality is 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. " Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Nobody said that you couldn't live by your beliefs. When somebody like Nazir-Ali, or you, speaks out against gay people, I have every right to voice my opinion about him, his bigotry and hatred, whether or not he bases it on his Christian beliefs. When you steal content, provide a citation for it. A good bit of your post came from http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_bibc6.h... . Why didn't you post the rest of it? Probably because it didn't go along with your already pre-conceived bigotry. I'll post what you didn't: Liberals: The Christian Scriptures are ambiguous on the topic of homosexuality. Paul's epistles and Jude's writing may have condemned: homosexual orgies outside of a committed relationship, or heterosexuals engaging in homosexual sex, or homosexual ritual sex in Pagan temples, or sexual rape of young boys by adult males, or pimping, or men raping angels. The Christian Scriptures, in their original Greek do not contain any clear references to consensual homosexuality within a committed relationship, and certainly do not contain any unambiguous condemnation of gay and lesbian sexual activity. However, after having been filtered through the belief systems of the translators, many English versions of the Bible clearly condemn homosexual behavior. Now that the famous "anti-homosexual" passages of 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Romans 1:18 have been so long identified as being critical of homosexual activity, it would be impossible for Bible translators to offer alternative explanations; their Bible wouldn't sell. A Christian wrote: <quoted text> The Bible, both in the Old and New Testament, includes several passages that have traditionally been interpreted to deem homosexual behaviour sinful. The interesting part is that the article was about a Church of England bishop making a statement of belief based upon the Christian scriptures of the Bible. Most of the postings concerned what the Bible says in regards to such conduct. Neither the Bishop or I can change the scriptures to please a person wanting to live a perverted lifestyle. The fact that since you cannot win the discussion as to what is being posted about you then attempt to attack the poster. As to what you do in your life. I am not going to approve of that lifestyle as being normal. I also believe it is against Christian beliefs. Yet neither am I going to hate you, make fun of you, refuse to talk to you or mistreat you in any manner. The discussion was simply about what the Christian Bible says about the matter.

Even angels don't have free will. The choices you've made with this free will have allowed you to choose a gay lifestyle, as you were not born that way. The only thing God created was your ability to have free will and you have chosen unwisely. Much like the generations of Moses did when they wandered for 40 years in the desert. They too had free will and chose unwisely to do as they choose and not obey God words. You feel that God only gave the 10 Commandments and these are only God's Words. If you believe in Jesus then you believe in the Trinity, and that in fact Jesus is God and his Son. As Jesus is Immanuel,(God with us) Jesus spoke of homosexuality as a sin, so in doing so GOD spoke of it being a sin. Be like the woman at the well. I will not cast the first stone at you, but I will give you Jesus' words and say "Now go and sin no more"
