Exactly. They claim to be law-loving, God-fearing, gay-hating model citizens until you peel back the covers and find a lying, stealing, homosexual.

Republicanism: the philosophy of failure.

We are not affraid of homosexuals. I know many who are good people. What most people and myself are against is that "push it into your face" flaunting of the gay mantra. Nobody likes anything shoved in their face.
You people (gay activists) are more likely to more harm than good for your causes in the ballance. You may seem to have gained a lot of legal ground, but at the same time you are loosing the respect of most of the people who used to not really care one way or the other.
Keep it in the closet!!! There are many more things to be "pround" about than that.

To add to that, take those Snickers commercials that got pulled from the air because of the whimpering of the gay rights people. I've heard a lot of people comment that "removing those commercials is going too far". I agree, in that you people look hard to find something that you can say is anti-gay or homo-phobic. Those commercials, especially the runner one, was absolutely hillarious.

Anybody that takes this and spins it into some type of a gay bash, has a wild imagination. They don't understand what "The A Team" was, or know anything about running or fitness. This commercial was nothing but cute and funny. There is nothing offensive here.

When has remaining in the back ground and having stereotypes shoved in their faces advanced anyone's cause?

When someone hears the word homosexual and thinks of a sex act....now that is something not to be proud of. When one stands up to injustice and is willing to experience the backlash and doesn't back down and then wins.....now that is something to be proud of.

Not all gay 'activists' whimpered. Everyone reacts differently to different things. When someone has been made to feel they must defend themselves constantly they tend to get a bit touchy. Expecting homosexuals to be any different is expecting more from one group then you would from you own group. How about all those frivolous suits that take place? Silly? Yes. But people will be people regardless of their orientation.

I found the commercial violent and demeaning to men in general. I wish that commercials would stop putting men down by making them look violent and stupid.

Homosexuality is a not a problem, its a way of life that needs to be addressed and understood. The same way the average person is born wanting a person of the opposite sex, a person is born wanting a person of the same sex. The bible says only GOD can judge. We need to be more accepting of those different from us. NO ONE is Perfect.

Why aren't we more worried about the important issues like the economy, taxes, energy, border security, etc? Homosexual marriage should be at the bottom of the list.

Merry meet Boony, agreed. It isn't a legal problem or a problem of any kind except in the minds of a cave dwellers. We might put them at the bottom of the list as an annoyance to society at large.

<quoted text>This is true, however they are not supposed to act out their wants when they are sinful. Deny self and take up the cross.
So how are you any better than anyone else? What sort of "sins" do you succumb to? Or are you perfect, without fault, without sin? Doubt that one, dear. Perhaps one day you will be - and good luck with that - until then, you have no room to point fingers and declare "sin" upon someone else's actions.

fedupwiththemess its not the sin its the repeative sin doing the same sin over and over and over that worsens the problem. When you are gay you live in repeative sin constantly.

Marriage has NOT always been 1 man and 1 woman, more often than not in human history it has been 1 man and several women - all of whom were property.

If you don't know the real history of marriage, get educated.

Unlike the ridiculous oxymoron of homosexual "marriage," plural marriage does have a real basis in how people live. The US Supreme Court upheld our federal definition of marriage against polygamists.
Well, at least 2 State Supreme Courts now, nope, it's 3, NJ, MA and CA (though NJ opted for equal to marriage civil unions) have upheld that same-sex marriage is legal and lawful.

Slowly but surely we are winning the battles and the war and eventually, the U.S. Supreme Court will side with us because there is no Constitutional reason for them to decide any other way.

Why does someone have to be perfect before they can point out a wrong or sin? The "you're not perfect therefore you can't tell me what to do" argument is horrible. Just because everyone sins doesn't mean that it is ok or should not be corrected. That's like saying that a policeman can't give me a ticket because he has sped before.
I sin every day but I try not to. Those practicing a homosexual lifestyle should try to change their lifestyle. Purposefully walking in a sinful life is different than seeking God where your sins are forgiven and your actions will be changed to more righteous ones.

Jimmy,
I was wondering just what this GAY LIFESTYLE you mentioned was all about so I went and looked up what it meant.
Here is what the gay lifestly is:
The Homosexual Lifestyle / Gay Lifestyle is:
Get up in the morning, moaning at the alarm clock.
Shower, dress, eat breakfast.
Go to work. Complain about traffic.
Work. Worry about the job getting outsourced to India.
Go home. Worry about gas prices.
Stop for groceries on the way once or twice a week.
Cook dinner. Realize there's no butter.
Eat dinner. Worry about blood pressure and cholesterol.
Do laundry. Try to figure out how to get that tomato stain out of that t-shirt.
Clean the house. Realize that a sock didn't make it into the laundry.
Pay bills. Worry about saving for retirement.
Watch a little TV, spend time with any family members in the house, talk with friends on the Internet.
Go to sleep.
Repeat.
Decadent, isn't it?
Gay and lesbian people live our lives like everyone else. We have jobs, bills, housework, and families like everyone else.
Sounds alot like the HETEROSEXUAL LIFESTYLE.
