Displaced aggression, fellas. The slogan goes, "Park City is in Utah, but not of Utah." Everyone I know at the resort is pretty darned friendly.

Oh well, a friend and I skied PCMR today.

Note the visit was canceled, not moved elsewhere. Sounds like it was an economic issue for the attendees as well. They could have went to Colorado instead...but didn't.

I would never feel comfortable going to Utah or spending money there. Ever again. It could be used against me in the future.

I absolutely support the boycott. I am completely over having my life and my freedom interfered with by bigoted right-wing religious people. Let's interfere, even if only a little, with their financial goals.

I have the opportunity to attend a function in Salt Lake City in February and I am balking at this time. No need for them to see my queer money.

I don't have any problem with someone canvassing or spending money in their own state for political inititives, but when the Mormon Church sent millions to California to defeat Prop 8...I have a problem. And just how many hungry mouths could that feed, people clothed, heating bills paid?

I think it may be time to start stamping our money with QUEER MONEY stamps again.

Yea lets blame the mormons and utah---- Idiots, it was the voters in california who decided the fate of Prop 8. Why not protest any of the black churchs? 75%- 80% of Black voters supported Prop 8.

This is great news. More room on the slopes for the rest of us locals! And I won't be hassled for my ski ensemble not matching.

I'm gay and going to Sundance.

I'm only spending money in Park City and at the SLC Airport for a transfer.

As for Jeff from LA: Did you miss the protests of some of the churches that have large black or hispanic congregations on the news? They did protest. Maybe if you weren't such a racist you would have noticed that.

Headline: Heterosexuals flocking to Utah in droves to ski and vacation in a family friendly and moral oasis. Thank you California for standing up for and re-affirming the importance of families where a mother and father raise decent and moral children. Now that's news!

I wonder how many of the people here who say they would not spend money in Park City have actually been to Park City? If they had ever visited, they would not punish one of the only progressive and cool places in Utah. I currently live in the East Bay of San Francisco. I consider Park City more liberal and accepting than the California city I live in.

The Mormons aren't even Christians and they're trying to dictate to Christians how to live ?!

You would be singing a different tune if your family depended on tourist $$$. Your post only shows your utter selfishness and the true nature of you Mormons. It doesn't take long for the tiger to reveal it's true colors. Just put some fresh meat in front of them and watch them pounce.

Your loving Christian ways are so noted....

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
