Word is there was more to the recording than has been shown. I don't know I just read it on here. The students there say he asked for it by his actions he did before it happened.
So did you drop out in the 5th grade because you act like a 15 year old by the way you talk and call people names on the threads. You don't act like someone you has graduated and been out of school for over a decade. You need to grow up. And the reason you don't like me is because I'm gay and you disagree with homosexuality and gay rights/equality.

I do not agree with anyone attacking anyone and those who do should go to jail . We beat them politically and that's it but the video did not show any of this anti-gay bias which these liberals love to scream.
Two boys imagine same age are fighting and we have no idea what led to one hitting the other even the bias ACLU video does not show that this had anything to do with being gay.
From the YouTube videos I saw Zach walked into a classroom, was ambushed, and some boy started swinging on him non-stop as soon as he entered the classroom. Zach never even lifted a finger.

I expect the blacks and women to have a fit and demand they stop putting the gays in the same category as them. How long are they going to let this go on?
Women are a gender minority. Blacks are a racial minority. Gays are a sexual minority. They are minorities and minorities have faced and still face oppression and discrimination. Just because gays aren't a popular minority doesn't mean they aren't an oppressed minority nor does it justify discrimination, bullying, intimidation, and violence against them. Women aren't the same category as blacks and vice-versa but every minority have had similarities and differences in their struggles for equality. You accept blacks and women but not gays so you therefore think gays shouldn't be considered an oppressed minority. You think discrimination against them is okay and want them to be oppressed because you have hatred and disgust for them and you are a bigot. Like what happened to blacks gays can still be denied services by businesses and restaurants and denied housing and jobs simply because they are or PERCEIVED to be gays. Sorry blacks and women aren't the only minorities in this country.

The story shown here on this article isn't even correct as to the time frame of events that happened. It is poor journalism and very biased.
I know get used to it, but I will never accept it just like the majority of people do not accept it, but their voices have been stifled with all the hate perpetuated by the gays that have DEMANDS that everyone LIKE them. But the truth is they will never be accepted. NEVER. No matter what they do or say THEY WON'T BE ACCEPTED BECAUSE THEY ARE SICK MOTHER MF'ERS JUST LIKE YOU.
What next we all have to love the drug dealer across the street because people use drugs and he has the right to sell the drugs to them just because they use them?
I don't care how many laws are passed to appease your sick asses, but
YOU WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTED !!!! NEVER !!!
You are just going by what you are seeing students who were friends with the bully post. How do you know what they are saying is true? Just because you want the bully to be in the right because the victim happens to be gay whether that was the motive for the assault or not? The bully's friends are biased and will say anything to make him look good I'm sure. I've seen more proof that Zach was indeed a victim in all this. It's like history is being rewritten to make Zach look like the perpetrator. The one's on the side of the accused keep saying there is this information out there that proves Zach to be the bad guy but they can never produce any of it as evidence. What's up with that?

How dare you compare gays to drug dealers? Just because someone likes the same sex doesn't hurt anyone else. It's not a crime to be gay. Well maybe in your eyes it is but not by the law.

You sound like you are foaming at the mouth. I could care less whether you accept me as long as I have equal rights and can live free of harassment and violence. I don't have to associate with people with your mentality nor do I seek your love or approval. I'd prefer people like you hate me because I have no love for people like you, just pity. Why are you so obsessed with gays and with keeping them second class citizens? If I date another dude it doesn't affect your life any but you seem to let our existence bother you so much. Get a life! Are you closeted gay or something? You seem like you are having some internal homophobia.

Simply two boys fighting as boys will often do.
Just because boys often fight doesn't make it normal, right, or acceptable behavior. I makes them seem unstable and uncontrollable anger and aggression issues. It's not a normal guy thing. That type of behavior is taught and also has to be taught that it's not normal and not okay. It's not the right way to solve things. As adults they can be put in jail for that, even as juveniles they can and we are seeing that happen more and more everyday.

Blacks are our best bet .
Gays can be denied services at businesses and restaurants just like blacks used to. They can also be denied or fired from jobs based on their actual or perceived sexual orientation. Gays face discrimination too, not just blacks. There's your comparison. I'm aware many blacks, though not all, are homophobic and therefore don't like the comparison. People should try asking gay blacks about the comparison. Wanda Sykes is a black lesbian and she says it's harder to be gay than black in our society. Gays face more discrimination now than blacks did. If more gays were open about it back then they would have shared a similar or worse fate than the blacks. Blacks were washed down with a firehouse but gays probably would have been murdered. There were already laws against homosexuality on the books back in the segregation era. Don't act like they weren't also a minority struggling for equality and civil rights. Civil rights belong to everyone not just some.

You tried to evade the simple point again, closet case.

You are demanding to know if these other posters with opinions "were there."

Yet you were not there and have opinions.

This is a good example of your impaired mental functioning.

Another is your counter factual, capitalized, hysterical claim that something as simple as variations in sexual orientation will never be accepted. It already is except for a tenacious, sexually sick, shrinking minority of "religious" freeeks and sexually insecure cretins who will most likely themselves wind up facing hate crimes charges soon.

That is, if you're not already facing hate crimes charges. smirk

My wife and I were denied service at a restaurant in a very anti-gay city in Michigan back in September. I was appalled that it happened, but we were visiting and leaving in a couple days.

What city and county of Michigan was it? I'd like to know so I never go and do business with them. I'd like to know the restaurant to if you are comfortable with posting that.

The young man was assaulted, his mother should support him. If he was assaulted strickly for being gay, I would say that would be a hate crime. Since we did not see what led up to the attack, while unacceptable, we do not know it started as a hate crime.

Any assaults at school should be prosecuted. They need to learn at a young age that that won't be acceptable behavior as an adult. If a student hits a teacher they'd be arrested so why shouldn't it also apply to student on student fights?

It does not look at all like a hate "crime" and more like 2 boys simply fighting over who knows what.

This is why the leftist agenda of "hate crime" is so dangerous as it targets anyone who is not gay even if he is defending himself.

Hate Crimes Laws add an enhancement to the punishment of violent crimes for Religion, race, nationality, disability, and sexual orientation. They don't just apply to gay people and you know that.

Tell us all something. Do you object to someone who kills a police officer in the line of duty facing tougher penalties than you do a person who kills a store clerk in a robbery? Do you object to a person facing additional charges for using a handgun in the commission of a robbery even if no one was killed?

It easy to say a crime is a crime and all crime is an act of hate or violence but that isn't always true. A purse snatcher certainly isn't targeting their victim because they dislike the perceived group they belong to. Not every taxi driver who is robbed is robbed because they may be from India or the Middle East.

It's sort of funny to hear you talk about leftist liberals while at the same time you are defending criminal behavior.

Yes I do object to the above because I do not subscribe to selective type of laws.
A crime is a crime and a store clerck has as much value as police. Unlike you liberals I consider everyone equal.

Hate crimes only protect a few and give you special treatment.

It's funny that no one ever complained or made an issue about hate crime laws were they first became law until the LGBT community wanted sexual orientation to be included in those protections. This makes the opponents of hate crime protections nothing but hypocrites, bigots, heterosexists, and homophobes. It's clear that they don't have an issue with hate crime laws they have an issue with gays and transgendered being protected under those laws. They just don't want to be seen as the full fledged bigots that they are. I've never heard of anyone trying to opt of religion being protected, religion being a proven lifestyle and choice.

Why aren't you speaking out about enhanced penalties for killing law enforcement then? I only see people make an issue of "special rights" when it comes to gays being protected. It's clear there are major issues of homophobia and heterosexism in this country.

Sexual orientation in the hate crime law protects straights too and bisexuals. It's protects everyone therefore it's not a special right that just protects one group and not others. It just happens though that gay people are more often victims of that type of hate crime than straights are. It's very rare for gays to commit a hate crime against someone because they are straight but that doesn't mean straights are any less protected under that law.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
