This Week in Intelligent Design - 16/12/11

Full story: The Panda's Thumb

It's nearing Christmas, and here in Australia the weather is heating up, causing the ground to bake beneath our thong-covered feet - and a kind of cognitive dissonance sets in as the "White Christmas" imagery fed to us by popular culture and jolly old Christmas tunes conflicts with the harsh reality of Summer in December.A Such is the Southern ... The five year time period hasn't started yet. It's kind of like the 1000 years of peace before the End Times predictions. The date just keeps getting pushed back as more "evidence" is found as to when it will start.

16/12/11, gotta love the dating methods. This is why I never discuss 9/11 with my European friends because they keep asking me what happened November 9th.

Kind of like March, or was it October, 2010. Has he awakened enough to come up with another date?

They never learn. The Witlesses have been doing it for over 100 years, and Christianity in general has been losing for almost 2,000 years. Yet they think rain dances, witch doctors and voodoo are silly. I fail to see the difference between a witch doctor and Jebus.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Leo

You're in a very idealistic mood today, making it almost impossible for you to view loved ones in their true colors. If they've got any faults you won't see them because you'll have blanked them out. This rosy vision of your nearest and dearest is fine if it doesn't last long but it will cause problems if it persists and you continue to brush any problems under the carpet.
