P.T. Barnum creationist sideshow

It is amazing what creationist will do for biblical pseudosceice and I find it bizarre and tacky. Remember the poor kitten borne with one eye and nose-less is back in the news. The owner sold the dead kitten to a creationist bible museum (Lost World Museum) in Phoenix, New York. For what purpose is the museum going to display this animal? Well they just posted why today. Basically they are trying to claim that all mutations are either neutral or negative happenings. Intelligent Design? There mission statement claims: The mission of the Lost World Museum is to present the greatest evidence ever assembled which validates the creation account found in the book of Genesis.

We will explore past archeological finds and perhaps offer an alternative explanation as we present: the Giants of the pre-flood world, the remnants of ancient technology, the existence of Noah’s Ark, evidence for a worldwide flood, anomalous fossils and out of place artifacts.

We will use the creative marketing techniques of P.T. Barnum to arrest the public’s attention while providing the resources to answer that age-old question:
“Is it Apes, Aliens or Adam?”

Also, I find it rather disturbing that the mission statement doesn’t acknowledge the Flying Spaghetti Monster who created mountain, trees, and a midget – do they forget that we are all his creatures! The article and the link to the Lost World Museum follow:

Museum Will Display Cyclops Kitten's Remains

GRANBY, N.Y.(April 5)- The one-eyed, noseless kitten that inspired an international debate last year over whether it was a hoax is coming to a new museum of oddities in central New York.

The museum founder, who believes in creationism, said the kitten is meant to launch another debate about how science and religion intersect.

The Oregon woman who owned the kitten said she turned down Ripley's Believe it or Not! and sold the remains to John Adolfi of Granby because she liked his religious reasons for wanting them.

"We didn't want Cy becoming a joke or part of a personal collection," Traci Allen said. "But John was so heartfelt, you could tell he was genuine and sincere."

Adolfi would not say how much he paid for the kitten, named Cy, for Cyclops. He said he plans to have it embalmed Wednesday at a local funeral home.

The kitten died in December, a day after being born. Veterinarians in Oregon said it suffered from a rare disorder called holoprosencephaly.

Cy will be displayed in a glass jar in the Lost World Museum, which Adolfi hopes to open in nearby Phoenix this fall.

Other exhibits will include giant plants and eggs, deformed animal remains and archaeological finds, Adolfi said.

I heard that on the last Apollo moon mission they found buried on the moon an artifact called Noodleliths! This proves that the Tiktaalik fossils which the scientist found also a bowl of Noodleliths among their fossilized bones and thus “Ushering” them a "evolutionary kick in the pants" we needed to survive at the Dawn of Time of the movement to land. All Hail the great Noodlelith placed by the divine FSM. Will we go to Jupiter now and may we find an alien intelligence – no we will find the Divine Flying Spaghetti Monster HAL-ing no hovering and waiting for mankind to approach.
