Accused Texas base shooter asked Muslim cleric for advice

What concerned San Diego-based FBI agents about Hasan were emails beginning in December 2008 to al-Awlaki, whom U.S. authorities would later call a leader of al Qaeda's Yemen affiliate.

U.S. Army psychiatrist sought advice from a militant Muslim cleric on whether killing American soldiers would bring him glory, in emails months before he was accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas, according to copies of his emails released on Thursday.

Ahhhh yes. The same Muslim cleric that was dining in the pentagon with our military brass days after 9/11.

Why are these muslim vermin allowed into the country? In every country they have infected they have refused to assimilate and adopt our superior western culture. They are as bad as fundamentalist christians and just as dangerous to our freedoms!

I don't think anyone is trying to hide that.

They were just reporting on some of the solid evidence against him, that had not been, previously, released.

The main issue is why wasn't this guy questioned earlier and flagged because of those e-mails.

Could this have been stopped? is the real issue.

He will be convicted.
