This would be a challenge since Congress has not figured out anything in two years. Good luck. I remember Pelosi holding up a board with gas prices a year ago and stating they would do something about that! Well they did, the prices went up another 30%. What a Congress, 14% approval rating while they hammer the president as an all time loser with a 28% rating. They are clueless.

Funny how one of the people in congress deciding this bill has killed more people (1) than than anyone who has died in gitmo (0).

"He says lawmakers _ and not federal district judges _ should decide the rules governing the detainees' hearings. " You are right they should with the scope of the constitution. The US constitution says quite clearly that can not remove the writ of Habeas Corpus. This was written by our original lawmakers.

Wow! So Congress is now charged with cleaning up the big mess created by the current president who was allowed to walk all over the constitution by the prior Congress! Dems have created a lot of messes to be fixed, but not this one.......

Americans are not being informed about this disaster by the Press, just as they did not present the facts to us about the information prior to the Iraq illegal War. Yes Mukasey has the balls to now ask the Congress to cover Bush arse. He wants them to Declare a "War on Terrorism" prior to Bushs leaving office. He wants only one chosen Court to hear the Appeals of these detainees. The Supreme Courts decision really pulled the rug out from under Bushs supreme dictator Presidency. God help the Congress say NO NO No to this insane proposal. Write your Congressman and Senator and say NO to Mukasey . Mukasey as Attorney will not say Water boarding is torture to the Congress, they have asked him many times during hearing and he evades it just like Gonzales did. Mukasey is not the Attorney General of the People like John Kennedy was. He is Bushs Political puppet. and fits the Law around Bush policy.

I only wish that the Republican Larry Craig the Senator from idaho was still in the senate. I think it was so kinky of him to look for bathroom sex with other men in Minnesota. Maybe, one of my children could be a senator to.
