Conservative group says gay activists 'mull terrorism'

Let's compare:
- This conservative activist group believes that some LGBT activists may be mulling using terrorism against Christians.
- We have already seen evangelical "Christians" using terrorism -- point in case, the shooting of an abortion doctor IN HIS CHURCH!

So, that's their smoking gun? Not the blog post itself, but a series of comments made on it by someone reportedly gay + wacko? Some "guy" named "tex" who I swear is actually an anti-gay bigot I’ve seen commenting here on Topix? Some anonymous “dude” they take as representative of everyone in the LGBT community including myself? This is so ridiculous! They’re totally grabbing at straws! It wouldn’t work unless the anti-gay crowd first could use anything… I mean anything… to somehow prove that “homosexual activist terrorism” is a real threat to be taken seriously! What poppycock! I understand how you don't see any humor in that, and for what its worth, I agree that it was downright despicable, but the fact of the matter is that nobody got hurt, and there has never been a single act of this so-called "homosexual activist terrorism" to speak of. The most you possibly call it is "homosexual activist practical-jokeism".

And for what its worth, I don't hate you. I don't wish harm upon you or any other Christians in any way. The only thing I hope for is that you will all decide one day that treating decent people decently is a cause worth supporting.

Strip us of our rights take away our EQUAL rights and the minute we show any feeling of anger "look the gays are attacking us" much like the bible thumping Phillips Clan and the conservative groups that breaths off of there hate and distain for anything or anyone that doesn't think like them...DIGUSTING!!!!

You obvious prejudice against both GLBT and the Muslim community seems to have blinded you to facts.

Google the phrase "shooting sprees" and you will see that in the last 10 years virtually ALL multiple shooting sprees have been perpetrated by white American christian males, many inside schools.

You will NOT find an epidemic of Muslims or gays going after anyone other than what happened at Ft Hood and even then, the only thing linking Muslims to this shooting was the shooters faith. And at this moment, it cannot be said with certain that he wouldn't have done the same thing had he been a christian.

So your "tolerance be damned" mentality will only further isolate you from reality and that is that Christians have killed more people in this country in the last decade than Muslims and GLBT have since the founding of our nation.

It's not christians that are the problem its the rightwing republican militant bigoted homophobic radical christians that are the problem. And so far the group that gets bashed all the time are gays,not these fringe fascist christians.

Oh and I won't be defending muslims because they make attacks on gays by rightwing christians look rather tame. That's not to say there are no decent Muslims but as religon and countries that are mainly Muslim go, they are ruthless to gays.

Christians have learned their Bible lessons well. It's probably the most violent book any of us have ever read.

I think Christian conservatives come waaay closer to being terroristic than gay rights activists. They are all about dictatorship and theocracies.

Hell, if we are going to lock people up based on how they espress themselves, show me where I can submit s*** people post against gays and lesbians, black folks and jews, women and muslims. And they all are from the Conservaturd, Neo-Xtian, rightwing world. Been saying for years that the christian world has been infiltrated by violent extremists that are planning attacks against Liberals, gays, minorities and the like. They loooove to brag about their guns and what they will do when they start their revolution.

In fact, if threatening to secede, print your own money, and ignore legal authority aint sedition, I don't know what is.

This is another desperate attempt as we are gaining equality that the Christians are using to demonize us.

Good point, but the scariest fact is how many christians there are who see no fault in Islam for its harsh treatment of LGBT people and considering the legislation pending in Uganda (spearheaded by christian groups) that would make homosexuality a crime punishable by death, is there no end to the hatred? Do the leaders of these churches completely lack self-perspective in terms of their own faith?

That we can speak our minds and be who we are isn't enough! The longer christian churches stand to prevent us from attainting full civil equality, or worse yet, continue with success at taking away the rights LGBT people are already afforded, the penalty we pay for allowing this to happen is death! It only matters how far back that envelope gets pushed!

I'd like to hear one single christian not already gay supportive stand up and say they believe the death penalty for homosexuality is woefully unjust and it must be stopped. I haven't heard anyone yet. When the subject of Uganda comes up, they're all mute as bunnies and there is a reason for that. They support the death penality for homosexuality! Its just not politically realistic to do so!

Violence? This is what those who stand against LGBT equality wish upon us. It is not what I wish upon them. A change of heart would be more like it.

jihad is the spiritual journey that members of the islamic faith go on to rid themselves of sin, much like christain confession, but a lot longer.
