Well the only reason Poor Sarah got an attorney was to stall the out come, but the legislator's in charge says it doesn't look good for Sarah the impeachment will come 4 days b4 the election. If john was smart, but i know he's not, he'd cut her and get a better choice. But naw he's not going to do it. It will be the pick that lost him the election and he'll go down in flames. old fool, thinking with the wrong head.

REality check time: 1. She's not going to be impeached. The guy she fired has testified that Palin never even spoke to him about the state trooper. 2. If hiring a lawyer when you are being investigated is somehow front page news, then we are living in a very strange world. Please give me the name of a single political figure --innocent or guilty --who did not hire a lawyer when he or she was notified of an investigation. These days even witnesses hire attorneys. This is so much about nothing that it is truly astonishing. |

if celebrating a 17- yr- old unwed teen who is having a baby and holding her up as though she is some type of role model isn't disturbing to you, then I guess none of Sarah palin's shady behavior is. i see that you didn't have the balls to my post in reply to yours previously. lol!!!!! |

Who (outside of you and your ilk) is "celebrating" a 17 year old girl being pregnant? That's the who point. It's NOBODY'S business. It's a family affair, and for one of your buds to call the child of a political candidate a "skank" is so far beyond the pale so as not to be acceptable by anyone with a shred of decency. As for me not responding to your previous post, I don't have the slightest idea a to what the hell you are talking about. Based upon what you've written here, it is likely that your previous post was too moronic to even bother with. |

1 The problem is that SHE put them out there. Palin is someone who has been accused of denying programs for young girls in Alaska who either find themselves in her daughter's position or are trying to avoid it. It is sexist to mock her appearance and her participation in the beauty contests. But because she self-righteously and publicly paraded her family, her policies--especially concerning family, sex ed, and choice--are fair game. So is the subject of her investigation. It is obvious that her ex-brother-in-law was a jerk. However, if you do the wrong thing for the right reason in a capacity of power, it can backfire to the benefit of the wrongdoer. And for the record, I think the Republican Party--which has always condemned victimhood--is cynically promoting it. |

I love debunking your lies! Truth hurts about your party, eh? KKK & the Klan Bake are part of the Democrats history. ABC News/Jake Tapper September 02, 2008 5:11 PM Gail Fenumiai, director of the Alaska Division of Elections, tells ABC News that regardless of the impression given to members of the Alaskan Independence Party,“Gov. Sarah Palin first registered to vote in the state in May 1982 as a Republican, and she has not changed her party affiliate with the Division of Elections since that time.” That said, Fenumiai says that Palin’s husband Todd was a member of the AIP from October 1995 through July 2002, except for a few months in 2000. He is currently undeclared. Who wears the pants in this family? |

What's to spin? These are Obama's own words. What in the hell is a "typical white person" anyway? Any smart person, without the bigoted view would have said she had some fears, explained them as applied to her individually and not thrown in the "typical white person" remark. The question would apply if someone mentioned a "typical black person" too. His comments shows a bigoted side of Obama. |

Mayor of a small town that she leaves with a 22 million dollar debt. Less than 2 years at being a gov and already under investigation for abuse of power. Great pick there McCain, NOT!

The Democrat Majority nominating Robert Byrd as Senate Pro Tempore would be the racism problem. Dem Party faithful giving this piece of garbage that title which places him 3rd in line of succession to the Presidency is insulting. The Democrat Party was not forced to select KKK Byrd but did so of their own free will. Shameful. |
A town of 5000 with a 2million dollar debt, Kool-aid must be getting stronger :-) |

My thoughts on Palins speech are:
She started off a bit slow but as the crowd cheered her, she picked it up a bit. Her voice was kind of aggravating in the beginning, but either I got use to it or she changed it up later. She delivered a few good lines. In particular, the one about the hockey moms, a pit-bull and lipstick. I thought that it was touching when her youngest daughter Pipper, licked her hand to rub the babys hair. But for this to be her introduction to America speech, she came across as angry and nasty towards Obama for most of it. I believe that the Republican base was desperate for any kind of hope during their convention; and they have convinced themselves that they have found it in Palin. The News Media and the McGeritol campaign had been setting it up for a few days so that no matter what had happen, the speech would be well received. But overall, she did ok,(because the bar was set very low). John McGeritol should get a good bounce in the polls in a few days. 6 to 10 points lead. |

I don't mean to slam the children. What we really want to know is who is the baby's Mom?
I think that is the question. If Palin is not telling the truth, then how do we know that she can be trusted on anything else that might come up and the public should need to know. |

1 I would say that the words "typical white person" are no more derogatory, inflammatory or have more hidden meaning than "average hockey mom", which are Palin's own words. It's just saying there is nothing out of the ordinary here. If you do think he meant something more by it, then obviously Palin has a hidden agenda in her words, too. |
On the news today they said that the attorney can stall and stall until after the election. That sounds murky, sleazy and deceitful and of course expected but hope that is not going to be the case? |
