Judge it!
Alton Fitzgerald and I graduated from Pine Level High School in 1965. We were friends for life. He attened our 40TH high school reunion last August and it was great to visit with him again.
My wife and I went to see him in Florida in 2004. We will all miss his warm smiles. He was such a great person. Flying was his life.

2 men killed in plane crash near Panacea
Two men were killed when a vintage 1940's plane crashed about 150 yards east of Highway 98 just north of the Panacea Airport.

Yes, Al was a great guy! We were neighbors for almost 10 yrs, he would always give me a hard time (with a smile) about working in my yard so much. This area of Florida will miss him.

Al taught me to fly in the fall of '97. I had such a great time with him and he will be missed by all I am sure.

THE TRUE. FITZGERALD WAS BOTH DRUNK AND UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MJ - LOOK AT THE FINAL FAA REPORT. HE MURDERED HIS PASSENGER AND ALL YOU "ACES" THINK HE WAS COOL?

FAA Report is true. Unfortunately there was bad judgement and Al paid the ultimate price along with one other. I learned to fly with him in '02 and will never forget him. He will be sorely missed.
