Correct me if I'm wrong but arent ultralights single occupant planes by regulation? Dont two seater planes require a pilots licence? An ultralight requires no licence to fly yet two were in this crash.

who is going to know. The county is running the airport with no checks and balances. The county has no business running an airport. Think of the liability of the taxpayers because our elected officals want to flush our tax dollars away on this pet project. Some one needs to wake up and ride around this county and look at the road repairs needed. I could suggest better spending of our money on serious projects.

That airport has been around a long long time....long before your tax dollars ever went towards any part of it. What are you saying?

You are correct, no such animal as a two place ultralight.
The FAA did allow a two place exemption for an ultralight type trainer that expired Jan 31st of this year. Since then most of these were transitioned into a new classification called "light sport aircraft" which means "N" numbers and registration with the FAA and do require a pilot's license.

Is it legal for Judge Tracy Carroll to be married to Lt Billy Flurry who works for the Aiken County Sheriff's Office? LT Flurry has a number of officers who present there case in her courtroom for warrants, arrests, hearings, trials, etc. It's hard to believe that she is able to conduct impartial and independent hearings given that she's sleeping with law enforcement. This just doesn't seem right from an ethical point of view???
