Same Sex Marriage Battle In Tennessee

If two people want to get married, why should anyone else care? I just do not understand it. If two males, females, or combination male female wish to form a legal bond for their own reasons,the only people who should have a say in this is them.

Marriage is hardly sacred. People get divorced, annulled (the catholic church can anul a marriage after 25 years, and five children,,DUH) what hypocrites! People commit adultery, cheat, beat their wives/husbands, molest their children, all under the protective name of "marriage".

Soooo..... if two people want to love each other and have a legal protective bond, regardless of their sex, why should the hypocrites care? There is just possibly more love in these unions than in some others, because of the great risk they take in proclaiming their love. Leave other people alone and let them do as they wish, so long as they are consenting adults. Government KEEP OUT of the bedrooms of America!

Of course there are a lot of great male/female marriages without any troubles. There are just as many which hide lots of troubles, including an excuse for abuse. Many atrocities go on behind closed doors, following a blessed by the church "marriage" Many never tell out of pride/fright whatever. Children are far more likely to be abused by their own families within a "marriage" than by strangers.

Oh, and do we have to make the leap from being gay to being an animal? Does not bother me, as long as you also make the leap from being straight to loving sheep as well.

Keep praying while you deny democracy to the gay population.

There is no point in arguing with you, you will have to find another vent for your anger, and judgement. The treadmill is a great place to find stress relief, or maybe yoga would help you. :)
