If women can't get legal abortions, they will be going to quacks again and risking their lives. If they really want an abortion, a damned stupid law won't stop them. I wish the "do gooders" that are against abortion could have shared my experience when my mother had a butcher abortion done at the insistance of father. I was nine years old and carried buckets of blood to the toilet because she was too weak to do it. Once the abortion was done, he went to visit his mother 200 miles away. The only reason Mom didn't die is because a friend of dad's stopped to drop off some money he left for her. This man could tell that something was seriously wrong just looking at me. Mom had told me not to tell anyone and I obeyed. But I was very scared at all the blood. He insisted on seeing her, and when he did--he called an ambulance. The hospital said she would have died within the night. So I totally support legal abortion done by qualified people in a sterile environment.

The religious right believe that women are for pro creation only. They could not care less if a woman dies from a botched abortion, matter of fact they think she deserves it.

The other side of the coin of course is that Democrats could care less about how many babies they kill.

Morgana used it correctly. I give her an A on her comment also. Another error in your statement is assuming all Democrats support abortion.

No, I am not kidding. Republicans are crazy, but there is no war on women.
