<<<you show your ignorance of the Christian faith. gods will in the termination of a pregnancy ? you show your ignorance in freewill.>>

Because God made you for a reason, he also decided when you would be born and how long you would live. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death. The Bible says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16

Under this view of the universe, God plans everything.

Take a moment and think about what the bible said. "He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death."

Let's examine one simple implication of this statement. What this means is that God has pre-planned every abortion that has taken place on our planet.

If the concept of "God's plan" is true, you can first of all see that God wants us to be aborting fetuses. Every single abortion is planned by God, so God must be doing it for a reason.

Second, you can see that both the mother who requests the abortion and the doctor who performs it are blameless. Since it is God who planned the abortion of the child (God chose the "exact time" of the death, according to the bible), the mother and doctor are simply puppets who are fulfilling God's plan, are they not?

What about all the Christians who are fighting against abortion? If abortion is part of God's plan, why are they fighting it? God is the all-powerful ruler of the universe, and his plan is for more than a million children a year to die in the United States through abortion.[ref] If God's plan is true, then each one of those abortions was meticulously planned by God.

If God does not intend for us to perform abortions, is the bible then wrong that God has a plan?

If God has a plan, is he not the direct cause of every abortion? Simply think it through, and you will begin to see the problems in the bible's proposition.

I see dispite my asking, some of you still are making it difficult for the womens movement. I guess there is no discussing this with the immature self-centered men who populate this thread.
The idea that anyone believes any of you are mature enough to be, ahh lets see if I remember, Attorney, fighter pilots, Karate experts, singer/songwriters, businessmen, professional writers, hope I covered it all. It is amazing considering you do all of that from your mothers basement.

Sadly the women continue to allow themselves to be dominated by these men who admit to multiple marriages, treating wives like serfs and knowing more about womens issues than women.

Ladies please try to find your own path. If you have been held down by a man for years, stand up. It is no longer 1955. I say this as a friend.

If you have had an abortion that is your affair please don't come on here and brag about it. What purpose does that serve.

As a leader in the movement I can only hope that you will head my advice.

ridiculous! the psalm you qoute is about an individuals (probably david) experience with his creator. not the entire human race. anyway if you're a believer you understand that god gave you a free will. and, God is omnipotent. he's universally transcendent. you have a free will but god knows what your going to do before you do it. keep seeking him.

abortion, I believe, is "the desecration that causes desolation" but I could be wrong. and despite my disgust and opposition to it I would never force my will on a woman's choice of what to do with her body. WWJD? probably perform miracles. which, so far I can't do. So, I try to do as he would. and, my understanding of my personal savior is that he never hindered anyone. not even satan, "get behind me". so I would like to encourage women who have the choice to seek christ. but, I would never force MY will on anyone.

Throughout human existance the age of puberty has remained the same. What has changed is societal values. When I was 14 & puberty kicked in, despite 2 educated involved parents, straight A's in school, and a plethora of youthful activities, nature overuled my upbringing, and my 1st sexual experience resulted in pregnancy. Raised in the Roman Catholic church we were taught abortion was wrong. Common sense told me that I wasn' ready to be anyone's parent, and my parents would have been
greatly disappointed and angry with me. Without their knowledge I had an abortion, and worried & prayed that God wouldn't punish me too harshly. I
feared God would never allow me to have children based on the teachings & preachings of my elders.
At 23 I married & at 26 conceived my 1st born. What I learned is that God not only doesn't hold a grudge, he rewards common sense & a caring heart.
I cared enough about the quality of life I could offer a child at the age of 14, and the weight I'd
be putting on my family to know I wouldn't be able to give that child a good life. I now know God looked into my heart & understood what Right-to-Lifers don't yet grasp. Unprepared parents, unwanted children, and all the ills that accompany them are not things the Lord smiles upon. In my case, as many others, we now are good, solid parents to children who are loved & thriving. He didn't punish me & make me barren as the adults & clergy would have me believe. I believe He saw what was in my heart & mind and decided to hold onto that little soul for me until I was ready to be the kind of parent He truly appreciates and all
children need. While teen pregnancies certainly do not account for all abortions had in this country, it cetainly DOES account for the large numbers of children's deaths each year at the hands of illequiped & unprepared individuals. To the people who mistakenly think they have the right to tell me what to do with my body I say take a page from God's book. If what I had done was so very heinous as you'd like people to believe, God would have certainly taken action. For over a decade I fretted that God would strike me dead, or at the very least prevent me from ever being a mother.
NOTHING IS FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH, & SHAME ON THOSE
WHO PERPETUATE THESE FALSEHOODS IN THE NAME OF OUR CREATOR! Open your minds & hearts to truly hear His word: He will judge the living & the dead - not you! We must find a way to reconcile nature's realities & societies ever changing values. While abortion isn't the solution, neither is man-made laws. Faith, education & compassion are far more potent and enduring than our current recourse.
A wonderful, touching, and sensible post. I also wish more people thought like you.

Yes she believes God has rewarded her for having an abortion but maybe she's not sure because she also said she believes that God judges the living and the dead.
